I was at the Bagel Project in SLC recently -- perfectly ok -- I noticed all the Best of Utah awards and thought -- The Bagel Den is hands down much better and deserves to be the true Best of Utah!!

Their sign says, “born in New York, baked in Utah.” I lived on Long Island for 12 years and the bagels at this Bagel Den are some of the best I’ve ever had! Soft, fresh, and full of flavor! You won’t be disappointed!

Fun little breakfast spot. You’ll order up at the counter for To-Go or they’ll give you a number and you can seat yourself and then bring you your food.
I ordered the Carnivore breakfast sandwich. It was a good sandwich but felt like it was just missing something.
It was a very popular spot and will give it another try with something else on the menu.

I come here for my coffee fix. I can’t seem to get a decent cup of coffee anywhere except here.
The staff make me smile, there are 3 employees in particular that I enjoy seeing when I stop by. I wish I knew their names but they have been here for as long as I can remember they all 3 have dark hair and they are the best they are genuinely nice and friendly and will talk to you. They always have smiles on their faces. It’s extremely rare to get such enjoyable service. I hope they get a raise and or are being paid well because they definitely deserve it. I did get a few bad coffees one time from a newer employee but I mentioned it to one of the regulars and they must have fixed the situation because my coffee is perfect this morning from that newer employee!
I also love their carnivore sandwhiches (while I cant eat the bagel because I am gluten free) they are happy to put it on the side for my husband to eat. It’s always hot and such a good helping!
I highly recommend this place. Nice, clean, friendly, and their food is yummy and fresh!
