The food was OK. Had the flautas and they were above average. My main issue was that I asked to sit at a table and not a booth. Server appeared annoyed that I wasn’t sitting at a booth like everyone else. Ordered a margarita that was mostly mix. It was just a very mediocre experience. I don’t like it when I visit a restaurant that is mostly empty between lunch and dinner and the service is lacking. Three stars, frankly, is generous. The insult to injury was waiting 10 minutes for someone to take my card for payment. Finally, I just walked up to pay and gave 18% tip. To get only 18% from me is sad as I like to take care of servers. Improve your customer service, La Fountain, and good things may come.

La Fountains’ service was wonderful. Since I am from Texas I truly like my Mexican food more spicy, authentic like mole, menudo etc…. But the food was delicious and fresh and ambiance was nice, very clean and service quick.

Oh man! This place is wonderful! From the chips and salsa to the entrees (too full for dessert). It was great. Everyone of the staff greeted us as we came in. The waitress was really good and made sure we were satisfied and not in need of anything. I had a steak chimichanga and my wife had a smothered burrito. So good. Our friends had enchiladas that they fully enjoyed. The place clean to a fault. The service was the best. I can't wait to go back. Oh, and the prices were very reasonable!
It's a typical Mexi-American restaurant. Similar to La puente, La Frontera, La Luna, Salsa Leedos, etc. Nothing special. The menu has several pages of dishes with color photos.The prices are very reasonable.The service was great and the restaurant was very clean.
