Love their tacos

The food was great! We had a party of 6 and everyone enjoyed it. Everything was birria meat and just a simple menu. We enjoyed the rolled tacos, birria burrito, birria quesadilla, birria plate, the three enchiladas and 3 leches. It feels like they are just trying to open the restaurant and 3/4 the way of being setup. We would go back. Alex was a great server.

My family and I had a great dinner here (the food was really good so yes come for great food!) but my girlfriend unfortunately lost her ring during and didn't notice until a couple of hours later. We came by and the staff helped up look for it, going so far as digging through the trash with us where we ended up finding it. The fact they were willing to help us so much was above and beyond 5 star service!!!

The first time we came here, we got the birria tacos and the burrito burrito. The tacos were great and the burrito was good, so we came back later. The second time, my wife got the birria tacos again (which were great again). I decided to try the ramen, and it was not what I expected (and there are no pictures on the menu to prepare you). It's literally one of those cheap, store bought paper bowls of hard ramen noodles with a paper lid that you add hot water to. They add their consome and birria meat to improve it, but it's still pretty bad. If you eat here, stick with the tacos.

This place has a mom and pop feel to it which I love!! The food is consistently tasty and the services is ALWAYS amazing!!

Service was great. Jesus, specifically, was very friendly and fun, but everyone was great. My wife ordered the crisp tacos, which were delicious. I ordered the red sauce enchiladas. The enchiladas were too spicy for me, because, full disclosure, I’m weak with spice. The rice and beans were delicious & I really like rice and beans.
Chips were great and salsa was delicious.
Food was served on porcelain plates, but with plastic ware?! Makes you feel like they are split between restaurant and food truck.
Also wish there was more variety outside of birria, which isn’t my favorite meat… really no other substitutes other than no meat is my guess. That will limit them becoming a regular for us.

Los Tapatios in Herriman is a gem! The staff was incredibly attentive and respectful from the moment I walked in. I have some food allergies, and they were beyond accommodating—taking the time to make sure everything was safe for me to eat. That kind of care and attention means so much.

And the food? Absolutely delicious! The enchiladas were phenomenal—packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. I’m already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for great food and great service!
