Restaurant is small. They seem to confuse green salsa for green chili. Told her I wanted green chili on my breakfast burrito, she gets a massive scoop of green salsa and plops it on my burrito as she asks if I wanted green chili. After I said green chili, not salsa, she puts another scoop and closes it. She did offer to make me another one but we were in a hurry and she was the only one working so it was already taking a while. The salsa was super bitter and ruined the whole burrito. My friend tossed hers after a few bites and I tossed at least half of mine. My son also said that the rice was super sour. Definitely not impressed. At least the chairs were comfy enough.

Had me a meal at Lamy’s Mexican Grill after a long day messin with equipment, and it sure hit the spot. Plate come out hot, tacos stuffed good, beans and rice had real flavor, not that bland stuff you get some places. Folks there was friendly, checked on me a couple times, and I walked out full and happy for the money I paid.

The building was freezing. If you eat here plan on staying home. Its like taco bell on your guts. The kid behind the counter was respectful but when HIS nails are longer than mine and handling the food with no gloves... yucky.

Great food and customer service. Rosa had a 21 burrito catering order ready for pick up on time. Huge portions.

Pseudo Mexican food, all pre-made (which leads to dry steak!) No beer.

I felt it was pretty expensive considering we mostly ordered tacos and quesadillas and drinks, with a top the bill was over $70 for only 4 ppl. They do add many many more toppings options than most cantinas but I mean come on, it's beans rice tortilla and meat or cheeses mostly. $70???? Just caught me off guard.

It’s always a treat to visit my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. The cheese enchilada entree is enormous, enough for two meals, and delicious. Lamy and crew are cheerful and accommodating.

I took my wife and kids on a lunch date. There were 3 customers total besides ourselves there. We waited for 20 minutes. In those 20 minutes the lady working behind the counted never even looked at us. It was as if we weren't there. She never said so much as hello. Never even looked at us.

Deceptive and inconsiderate business practices.
We had just worked a 15-hour shift and drove 15 miles to Lamy’s Mexican Restaurant, the only place listed as open until 10 PM in Huntington. We arrived at 9:20 PM—well within their posted hours—only to find all the tables turned up and the staff actively cleaning.

A young woman greeted us rudely with, “We got no steak and we got no chicken,” which ruled out nearly everything on the menu.

I asked for a fish burrito instead—something clearly listed—and was told, “I don’t cook fish.” When I expressed confusion since their signage and listing say they’re open, she replied that they had already started cleaning and shutting down equipment, so they were only offering limited items.

I told her to just give me whatever she could. While she prepared it, I asked if we could dine in or if she wanted us to leave. She replied that they had to be out by 10, so no, we couldn’t dine in. Again—we arrived at 9:20 PM, not 10.

The burrito I got was cold, rushed, and completely unsatisfying. Worse, I felt sick the next morning. A coworker had recommended Lamy’s, and when I told him about the experience, he laughed and said, “Yeah, she can be a brat but the food is usually good”—like it was a known and accepted problem.

Here’s what needs to change:

If your kitchen closes before 10, be honest and list that on your Google hours. Customers aren’t asking what time you close up, they’re asking what time they can order until.

If you’re not offering dine-in after a certain time, clearly post that at the entrance.

If you don’t have key ingredients like chicken or steak available well before closing time, that’s a sign of poor planning—not something to be shrugged off.

Most importantly, treat your customers with basic courtesy—especially those who come in tired, hungry, and trusting your listed hours. A little understanding can go a long way even if you can’t fulfill something on the menu or offer dine in.

Until those issues are addressed, I’d strongly advise others to take their business elsewhere.

I heard the owner picked up and left for St. George to start a franchise there obviously not leaving the place in good hands. The care factor is non existent. As an owner manager, I would reconsider franchising until you have a model and staff that is sustainable. I can’t imagine this places reputation lasting too long if the service we got is the standard.
