This place was absolutely terrible. Came in with a group of people for dinner and instantly they were upset with the amount of peoples we had less than 12 people. The bartender was calling us assholes before we even sat down. I recommend coming to American legion before shooting star saloon

We walked in with a group of 10+ at 8pm on a Friday night. They were instantly rude and didn’t want to serve us because they closed “In an hour”. Very inconsiderate, so we left immediately. If you’re not a local, don’t waste your time here.

We tried to come in almost an hour before closing, and the staff made it very clear they didn’t want us there. Instead of welcoming us, we were basically turned away as if we were a burden. If a place lists hours, customers should reasonably expect to be served during those hours—not treated like an inconvenience. Extremely disappointing experience. We left feeling unwelcome and won’t be back.

Apparently, they don't want your business if you come within one hour of closing I am so sorry. I will promise you. I will never come here again and you just lost 15 people's business easily over $1000 good job guys

Absolutely love this place. The Star Burger is to die for!! The best in Utah in my opinion. The beer is always cold. The atmosphere is one of a kind. Don't forget about the stuffed St. Bernard on the wall & a ceiling full of Dollars. Just make sure you bring cash, that's all they take. There is an ATM in the bar. Yes the BAR, gotta be 21 to get in

There’s only like seven items on the menu the worst service I’ve ever seen the burger was so salty. It was uneditable. They only have one mayonnaise bottle in the whole building. Tried to even put mayonnaise on it to swallow it down. The waitress says oh would you like us to make another burger and I wait over 45 minutes then she’s surprised when I ask is the burger done. There are other reviews that say burger was extra salty. Please check into this. I believe this could be an amazing spot but stuck in old ways. And cash only really it’s 2025 pay your taxes and run a business.
Dive bar to the max but that's why you go here. It's not for the food or the service. It's the experience. It's just fun. Go and have a mediocre burger with a bit of sarcastic service and a cold beer. Oh and don't forget to bring cash, it's cash only.

This place is truly historic. The service is the worst. We came in early for dinner to avoid the dinner rush. We sat at the St. Bernard table (if you know you know) , We soaked in the historic atmosphere and after 25 minutes our waitress stopped to get our orders. A couple burgers and chips. 45 minutes later we were served our burgers and bags of baked lays chips. We had noticed the Cash only signs above the bar but not sure if this was just a silly joke posted under a jackalope. When the waitress came by to drop off the tab. I asked. She was obviously bothered by my question and pointed at the Handwritten CASH ONLY post. I was worried because Huntsville is a distance from banks and most of the stores close before 6pm. I told my husband I’ll walk outside and try to find an atm. I wandered outside and the charming town had nothing like a bank anywhere. I went back to troubleshoot this cash issue. My husband had seen other diners go to the atm in the bar. Relieved. I wasn’t going to wash dishes. We withdrew cash paid our tab, tipped the waitress and left the oldest pub in the area. I was disappointed in the lousy service the fact that in 2025 no option for payment other than an old atm with a $3.50 fee to pay cash. I loved the idea of this place but the experience was unpleasant.

Fun place to stop. We always try to visit Shooting Star Saloon when we're in the area. Sometimes, we'll hop on the motorcycles for a ride from Logan through bearlake over to Shooting Star to get some beers and a burger. The atmosphere is a really cool, true saloon type place. There are 2 cats and a dog that are always there, which really adds to the ambiance. Highly recommend.
