I have tried pastries from France and this is the closest to french pastries in the US that I've found. I overheard french speakers both times I went. Overall excellent experience food wise and service wise. I would recommend the Milk Chocolate and Tabernacle croissants and the Kouign-amann, all exceptional pastries. I wish they would have a homemade hot chocolate too!

Almost as dry as the desert we live in. I ordered a Carmel Apple fritter and a drip coffee. My wife ordered a breakfast sandwich. My fritter was dryer than the 3 day old maple bars I got from Walmart and cost about the price of 2 dozen moist apple fritters. The drip coffee was about 12oz for $3.50 and just slightly better tasting than gas station coffee that charges 2.12 for 24oz. The gen z workers seemed depressed and bothered. No polite DIXY warm smiles. The workers personalities were the only thing there dryer than all the pastries. Wife took me here because she was so impressed with the St. George location.

The croissant was flaky and soo good. We bought a ham and cheese sandwich to go. We ate it after spending 3 hours at Zion Canyon Hot springs . An excellent bakery.

Such a magical find during our weekend trip! We stopped later in the day and HAD to come back the next morning! So many delicious choices, so it was hard to choose just one. We easily spent $80 lol. The blueberry croissant was by far my favorite pastry. I loved the mixed berry croissant/donut, too! Friendly staff that recommended some selections, which did not disappoint. So glad we came across Bonrue! We will definitely stop in again on future adventures.

Everything we had at Bondrue was absolutely delicious. Fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was great, and the food hit the spot. A perfect place to stop when you’re in Hurricane. We’ll definitely be back!

We love trying new places around southern Utah. I noticed this bakery go up in Hurricane recently and finally had a chance to try it today.
It felt like a cute little European bakery with all their products beautifully displayed in glass cases. 10/10 for presentation.
I ended up getting a caprese sandwich and vanilla cream crossant with a weird name, tabernacle or something. Both were delicious. The sandwich was exactly what I expected and easily compared with ones I had in Rome. Which is hard to find in the states. 10/10 for quality.
The croissant was crispy with just the right amount of sweet and the perfect vanilla bean filling. REAL, HIGH QUALITY VANILLA BEAN! That alone deserves a 10/10 rating.
Bathrooms were clean.
Originally, I left a poor rating because of the customer service. I gave it another chance and the customer service was a 10/10 as well. We will be back.

Bonrue is one of the best things to hit southern Utah in a long time!
Everything was delicious. The sandwiches are so tasty and cheesy. And the pastries are to die for. I don’t think you can go wrong with anything there.
We went back multiple times during our time in Hurricane/La Verkin. Any time I go through southern Utah, I’ll make sure to stop in at Bonrue.

Honestly it’s not what it was. Not even close. They can expand to the wasatch front but we’ll not be spending money here. They are now overly reliant on sweetness and all of our items lacked flavor.

Great food abd friendly people.
These are the best pastries I have ever had. The guava pastry was out of this world. And the Amann one was so good, we couldn’t believe it. Perfect!

What a lovely surprise to discover a bakery in Hurricane, UT that is the equivalent of one found in LA, New York, or Paris. They definitely know how to laminate their pastries perfectly. The Kouign-amann was flaky at the crown and chewy, caramelised at the base. The croissants starting with the plain (true test) had a perfect shell and layers. We ordered to go their pain au chocolat, the Tabernacle vanilla bean cream filled croissant topped with crumbles, and their almond croissant (fantastic texture, just personally on the sweeter side for me), as well as a baguette. They have takeaway sandwiches and salads which you can take to Springdale to picnic at Zion National Park when riding your e-bikes or to Kanab to lunch after sandboarding the Coral Pink Sand Dunes. Everything was delightfully yummy! Will definitely return when in the area.
