Costa Vida Mexican Grill is one of the best spots around to eat. The food always comes out fresh, hot, and full of flavor. Kaelan the manager is the best super chill, friendly, and makes sure every customer gets taken care of. You can tell he really cares about the place and how the food tastes.
The tacos con chorizo are easily my favorite thing on the menu. The flavor is spicy but not too much, juicy, and cooked just right. You can taste the seasoning and how well it’s made. Every bite hits the same real quality.
The place always has good energy, clean tables, and fast service. You never have to wait long, and the staff is respectful. If you go, ask for Kaelan. He’ll make sure you leave happy and full. Costa Vida is a solid spot all around.

Come on…..I don’t know why we keep going back :( we want to like this location but my heck, is it so hard to read an order? You highlighted “no salsa” yet it’s there is salsa…ALSO, where is the rice and beans?? Paid for them but they aren’t there. There is no care at this location. They’re lazy and just don’t care. Even with a re-vamp. Oh no, no options to attach pics either, that tells it all.

I will not be eating here again. The guy making my burrito put it into the roaster, walked into the side room, started eating something, then came back out to finish making my food. Never once changed or even took off his gloves. Safe to say I did not eat the burrito and will not be coming back.

I have been going to the Hurricane Utah location since they bought it from Durangos. I've been quite satisfied with the quality of the food and the size of the portions until the past year (2025). The portions have shrunk significantly and the prices have raised. You would think that one or the other would happen but not both. Since they remodel a few weeks ago it has dropped off dramatically. I've been there 4 times since they have reopened and I have been greatly disappointed each time. At first I attributed the long wait times and the small portions to the fact that they are rushed and trying to figure out the new layout and staff. But yesterday was probably the last time I will be going there for a while. They were out of steak (would be a 10 minute wait on top of the 20 minutes I was standing in line up to this point). The shredded beef was my more liquid than meat. The size of the regular salad is the same size the small use to be and the small salad is about 75% what it use to be. A long-time customer has been let down 😥 and possibly lost. I'll probably give it another try in the next few months, but until then I'll be going Cafe Rio.

Service was friendly. Food was flavorful. Just very uncoordinated. And counter line was very messy. Probably finished a rush when we went in, but a quick line clean goes a long way ( my manager side speaking). First time trying this spot won’t be my last.

Wow. 2nd time this month I have waited nearly 30 min for a to go order. Ill give them a month to get their evening staffing resolved before i try again one last time. What a shame!

The wait for food is ridiculous. I’ve been sitting in this drive-through for 15 minutes now. After I ordered with only one person ahead of me. Seems like they are lacking in employees or something.

Amazing experience!! My food was absolutely superb and my tastebuds are tingling. 🤪🤪🤪 The worker named Jenna S was so kind and amazing and fantastic and beautiful and helpful towards me I don’t even have enough words to express my gratitude.
The food was fantastic and the service was super patient especially the nice girl IVY she made my experience 10x better . However the atmosphere has somewhat lost its magic from the huge blue water tank it use to have. Other then that, overall a well balanced meal
all the staff was so nice! ivy and jenna did a great job at making us feel welcome and had the cutest brightest smile on their face. i love seeing all the workers there!

We ordered sweet pork salads, and were a little thrown off when the cheese was shredded, not cojita. One of us asked for extra tortilla strips on our salad, and that salad was noticeably shorted on lettuce. Weird things that we can move past, but after that it was one thing after the other. We ordered extra tortillas with our food, and did not get them. When we asked an employee she said “I can’t help you, I’m doing to-go orders”. The line was very long, so we waited until the cashier had a moment to ask about the tortillas. When we did she was called away to help assist a to-go order that was messed up. I’m glad the lady in charge of to-go was there though to supervise! After we finally sat down to eat, there was one employee sweeping the dining room—which is fine—but she *consistently* kept hitting our feet trying to sweep under our table (which had next to nothing under it). And for the cherry on top, an employee on break was picking his nose in the corner of the dining room! As memorable as this was, we won’t be back :(
