What an awful experience. The man who owns this place was so disrespectful and verbally abusive. He was kind to the men and down right disgusting to the women in this establishment. I do not recommend giving this man your money. With plenty of Mexican food to choose from in the valley I would never recommend this place! I give it a negative five stars and will do my best to make people aware of how this man treats women. Bad experience all around!

This used to be the only good Mexican restaurant in Hurricane, but now it has changed drastically. The service has gone down hill. No employee speaks fluent English enough to properly take an order. We all repeated our order 4 times in the ordering process and still got it wrong. Margaritas are the worst I have ever experienced. The food? every one in our party got sick after eating.
Major issues going on with this place currently. I originally left a 5 star review for this place because of how great it was. But now, I suggest staying away because you will just leave disappointed.

I ordered the Vallarta Fajitas, which are supposed to come with chicken, shrimp, and steak. The chicken and shrimp were great no issues there. But the ‘steak’ was definitely not beef. It was pork. I know the taste and texture of beef very well, and I even double-checked by comparing it to my husband’s steak from his dish. I absolutely can’t stand pork, and this pork in particular tasted bad. I’m not sure if this was a kitchen mix-up, but for anyone who really dislikes pork, I’d recommend making it crystal clear you want steak. It’s surprising they could mix up pork and steak when cooking they’re different in color, texture, and flavor. Beef should have a darker color and a leaner cut, not come out light brown like pork. Really disappointing experience. If I ever give this place another shot, I’ll be checking my plate before taking a bite.

My family and I dined there for lunch, but I detected an unusual taste in the pork and an unpleasant odor, indicating that the meat was spoiled. I notified our waitress, who was exceptionally courteous and offered to replace our order. Although I had hoped to speak with the manager, he instead sent the waitress to apologize. While they did provide a discount on several items, regrettably, my husband and I fell ill for several days upon returning home.
I’ve eaten a lot of mocajete’s however this one tops them all the chicken was marinated just perfectly. It melted in your mouth. I’ve never had such great chicken and the Carne Asada was incredible. there was so much protein in this, but not even two people could finish it. There is bacon wrapped shrimp onions, Nopales, chicken, Carne Asada queso with a side of rice and beans. This is incredible. This place is super good!!!
Mariana had such great customer service and the manager came by twice to bring salsa and fresh tortillas!!!!
Come here and get the same thing and bring friends!!!

Waiters were super nice and attentive and food was delicious. We had a burrito, tacos, and quesadilla that were all delicious. I definitely recommend coming with an empty stomach and try out their margaritas.
