I rarely give one star reviews but I honestly can’t believe that this place is not rated any worse. We came after a long day of hiking so we were pretty dang hungry. The first impression of this little cafe was already not so great… there was no one at the register and everything looked a little run down, one of the tables were not even cleaned. But no problem, we still had hope for the food at this point. We ordered the steak and fries (over $20), the Reina pepiada ($10) and the cheese ball ($9). The steak was very very very thin and the fries were frozen fries that were not even hot. The Reina pepiada was taco size and it only came with one (for $10??? Come on!), and the chicken was overly salty. There was no service at all, we were given tiny little white plastic cups for water. For $50 we left still hungry and very pissed off. Would have had a better meal at McDonald’s.
I do not recommend this place at all.

The food here was really great! They were also accommodating of my vegetarian diet, and created a vegetarian Causa upon request. It was delicious! Lomito Saltado was loved by my family. The ceviche was amazing. And my personal favorite was the fried yuca. We will definitely be back! Service was very friendly, and quick!

I've entered in this place and the lady has been extremely nice with me, in fact we've spent a lot of time talking together. I ordered the arroz con pollo (rice with chicken) and it was simply.... delicious!!! It's definitely a good place with very good and warm people 🧡 and I recommend it!

This is my favorite place to eat in Hurricane. I always get the Bistec a la Pobre The folks that cook and run the place are so kind and accommodating. Their food is amazing tasting and feels like actual quality ingredients. Made with authentic grandma vibes and lots of good intention. Their prices are very fair for the portion sizes and quality.

This place was soooo good!!! My husband and I dined there almost every night we stayed in Hurricane during our travels because we just loved it that much. Super yummy and home made fresh taste. The staff is also very sweet and nice. Overall 10/10 would recommend!!
