We saw Volker’s at the Farmers Market at Wheeler Farm. We asked them what type of bread is used in the Asiago Loaf. After a little confusion about it, they assured us it was sourdough with “LOTS of cheese inside”, so we purchased that and an Apple Strudel. The “sourdough” loaf was actually plain white bread with a tiny bit of cheese sprinkled (and burned) on top with none inside. After reading other reviews here, it seems they frequently lie to customers about the type of bread they bake. The apple strudel had practically no flavor. It was soggy, bland, and gross. We threw it away after a couple bites. I would advise against wasting your money at Volker’s. Prices are very high for the lack of quality.

We were at the Daybreak market yesterday (Aug/2024) and got the apple strudel and a few filled pastries. Very disappointed in pastries fillings (or lack there of really), and flavor. My partner liked the apple strudel fine but nothing to write home about. We will be walking on by next time.

There was the sweetest young man working at the Murray farmers market today (8/3/2024) who was the sweetest. He explained products to us and interacted with my son so kindly. He made all of our day! wish I got his name. Product’s delicious as always but the service today was unbeatable ?

The asiago basil bread is so good, the pesto olive a close second. Really liked the Jewish rye as well, had a very strong flavor which I LOVE. The balsamic dipping sauce is so good I might eat the entire bottle to myself. Service was great. Prices are what they are, not at all surprised based on being at a farmers market. I thought they were fair considering that others were selling smaller loaves for even more. $10 per loaf and $12 for the dip seemed reasonable to me. The only thing we didn't love was the croissant with bratwurst, the bottom was doughy still, but the flavor was pretty good.

Stopped by Volker’s at the Daybreak farmers market and picked up an apple strudel. Not only was this the worst apple strudel I’ve ever had, it was the worst baked good I’ve ever had period. It was floppy and soggy, with mushy wet flavorless filling inside as you can see from the picture. Shameful!

Excellent bread and other wonderful treats! It is worth the price for the quality and care of the food. I go to the SLC Farmers market weekly to the quality bread. So many wonderful tastes come from the sandwiches I make my family. Thank you for providing everyone with quality food for the price⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Park City Main St farmers market on Sunday. Fabulous food, you can smell the fresh bread and all was amazing! We ordered an apple strudel, truly tasted like what I’d have at home in Europe. It costs more, but it is so so so worth the quality! The staff was great and helpful! We were truly impressed.

$10 for a croissant with no listed prices at the Park City Silly market after closing. No receipt offered and it was stale, dried out and a bad experience.

Absolutely baffled by people’s ignorance in expecting a family business to carry commercial prices when the food is above and beyond excellent. I went two Sundays in a row to wheeler farm market purely for their pastries, they are amazing and delicious you can really taste how homemade they are completely shocked to see the amount of entitlement in the bad reviews. Will be going again next Sunday as well ?

We recently found Volkers during the Ogden Car Show on 25th street. My family loves pastries but generally they are too sweet for me. We purchased a cinnamon roll, an almond Danish some sort of fruit topped roll and a blueberry Danish. Let me tell you they were absolutely fantastic. We will definitely go back

Purchased pastries and croissants at Wheeler Farm and Farmers Market in Pioneer Park. Their costs are ridiculously high! A rip-off for what you get.

Don’t waste your money on the sourdough bread. It isn’t even sourdough, it’s just white bread - so disappointed! And by the looks of other reviews, I’m not the only one who isn’t pleased with their “sourdough” bread. 0/10 stars.

We went to the wheeler farmers market and got the tiramisu and the sourdough loaf. The tiramisu was super dry and tasted nothing like coffee and the sourdough bread tasted just like white bread not sourdough very disappointed.

I often see Volker's at venues I attend , I never buy because everything is out in the open. Since the pandemic you'd think they could at least keep everything covered from everyone breathing or sneezing on it.
