Friday morning a dear friend of mine came to this restaurant for biscuits and gravy as he does most mornings. His favorite part of the day is Carl’s Jr breakfast. He’s one of their best customers. He ate his breakfast and never spoke to any other patrons. He was very respectful and stayed to himself. My friend happens to be homeless and looks a bit disheveled and pulls his suitcase with all his life’s possessions with him. Upon completion of his breakfast a Layton police officer was called by the manager of the store. He was trespassed and told to not return. Of course my friend was in tears and devastated. He pondered all day Friday trying to figure out what he had done wrong to be asked to never purchase his favorite food again. The truth is he did nothing wrong but was discriminated against by an ignorant manager that doesn’t know this good man. I can’t think of worse customer service than to be asked not to return to your favorite restaurant because of the way you look. I’d never refer anyone to this restaurant unless an apology was issued to this gentleman who loves their breakfasts. Sadly this restaurant just trespassed their biggest fan.

This location still has the kids play area. looking at the play area gives me nostalgia for the 2000s when I was a kid. Now a days there's less kids play areas in general and if there is one, it's doesn't have bright colors anymore or it's just different some how. I hope this place keeps the play area.

The service was good while the people were friendly. The restaurant was clean and pleasant including the rest room . I was surprised at how quickly we were served and that the price was not as gouging as other places with similar menus. We had a combination meal with avocado on a burger. It tasted fresh and was well prepared. I can't remember the name of the burger but I would definitely look for it on the menu and purchase it again.

I went on my lunch break, ordered a combo, Guacamole burger. The fries were not fresh to say the least. They were barely even warm, the same with the burger. They were fast and now I know why, the food was ready before I even got there. I won't be going there again!

Today october 27, 2025 at 2 30pm I ordered a california double cheeseburger and burger was flattened to hell. The lettuce was old and grey my first and last time eating here.

This is quickly becoming my Wed Davis county lunch spot. Staff is super helpful, fast, efficient and super professional. Israel was excellent 👍. I observed him treating every customer with attentive kindness. I'll be back next week!

We love Carl's Jr. It's delicious. I like to get the big Carl when I go. However at this location check your bag before you pull away, it is rare they give me the right food or actual give me condiments. Which they forgot this trip.
