For the home barista/coffee connoisseur looking to buy whole beans: Daily Rise is one of those gems I’ve found after searching long and hard for years. I roast my own coffee, and I am a coffee connoisseur. (Difficult to please), but every now and then it’s nice to take a break and enjoy someone else’s work. I’ve never ordered a coffee from them, but through buying whole beans, I have tried just about everything they offer over the years.Starting with my favorite; Snowbasin. It is very well balanced and has just the right combination of flavors. Snowbasin makes an excellent espresso, and is easy to dial in a great shot. Perfect for a cappuccino! Their espresso blend is also good, and makes a difficult competition vs the Snowbasin. I’d say it’s a bit more “roasty” and bold, as it cuts through the milk a bit more. Perfect for lattes. I’ve also tried their Brazil, Papa New Guinea, and their Wilderness blends. If you roast your own beans, you can have a lot of fun making your own blends with the single origins lending their respective flavors. The Papa New Guinea is rich, smooth, and buttery. The Brazil adds a great balanced body.Their Wilderness blend was less memorable I’d say. I remember it being good but difficult to stand up to their espresso blend, and the Snowbasin.The baristas have always been friendly, and it’s just a great place all around.

The staff was friendly and helpful!But, the bag of whole bean I got was roasted way too dark and is quite bitter. I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between this coffee and any supermarket coffee.This was surprising to me because they appear to be a specialty coffee roaster from the outside. Disappointing!

Ordered a chai charger with almond milk. I’m not exaggerating to say, this was the worst cup of coffee I’ve ever had. The coffee was bitter and bad and the chai was weak. Couldn’t drink more than a few sips. Wasted $10.
