We arrived as a family at Dairy Queen to celebrate an occasion for our family. We looked at the hours on the door, seeing as we were arriving at 9:30 pm. The sign said lobby open until 10. However, as soon as we entered an employee let us know that their lobby always closes at 9 pm. We inquired about the sign on the door and he responded that that sign had always said that but that the lobby closed at 9 and that we should have checked their online website for the real hours. We asked if we should go through drive though instead, and he said no no, we will honor the sign. Throughout our whole wait there were many pointed comments that made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. The family that came in behind us also felt the same way. Checking online, it also said the hours were until 10 for the lobby. The ice cream was great though.

Today was free cone day so hectic for sure. But the staff were all so pleasant and they are handling the crowds with ease. If they can handle this volume and pushing out the quality product I'm seeing all around me, I'm sure every other day at this store is great. Will stop here again when I'm back in the area.
We came to this location on free cone day. They were efficiently and friendly for how busy they were. We enjoyed a few sides along with dipped cones. Overall, it was a good experience. We will probably visit again soon.

I reached out to them about my experience and have not even heard anything. So I just wanted to share my experience here.
I ordered a customized cake for my son's birthday last month. Ordered it 2 days prior to pick up as suggested. The cake I ordered is already in their menu which is the Oreo cake. I just needed the the custom picture and writing in it. Come pick up day, I got there 10 minutes later than my pick up time because I thought it would be ready by then. It wasn't. The crew that was at the front told me they are just finishing it up and to wait for a few mins. 10 mins later, another crew came up and tells me they're troubleshooting the printer and to wait a few mins. I told them I need to go because the party will start soon. Few more mins later I told them I cannot wait anymore and they can just write happy birthday to it. Pick up time of cake 1030am, I didn't leave the store til past 11am. Party was 1130 and I had to go pick up my kids and take to the place. We were late from the party and guests were already waiting. Your crew could have told me when I got there that your printer is not working. Or they could have told me the day before! Why would I even order 2 days prior if you're only making them the day of, that excuse is BS! Not only did this disaster of a cake made my child sad he didn't get his cake, but it was embarrassing for our guests that we were late because I waited for freaking 30 mins for a cake that should have been ready. The cake was awesome no doubt about it, but your service is absolute garbage.

This has happened a few times now- I would order something, weither it's a blizzard, cake, or ice cream, I would order it with chocolate ice cream instead of vanilla and I would get vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup. I know the difference between chocolate ice cream and vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup. And yes, even the soft serve chocolate ice cream. I rather they just tell me they are out of chocolate ice cream instead of trying to get away with giving out vanilla with chocolate syrup.

We pull up at the drive thru and we started order and my bf wanted a solidified chocolate in a cup and a small vanilla ice cream in a cup. And the crack head lady argued with my bf about the chocolate going hard and he said it’s okay but she kept insisting not to get it because it will go hard Which it didn’t go hard by the way. So we get up to the drive thru window and waiting for are order. She Proceeded to be rude She had very poor customer service. As soon as we got the ice cream, all the ice cream was very melted. By the time we got home, it looks like we got a milkshake. She was worried about the chocolate going hard. They should worry about their ice cream staying frozen.
When we gotten our food it took a long while and also when we got our food we noticed our gravy was brown and it smell bad and I told the staff all she said so there’s nothing to do for me and I was okay but told her would you eat and how would you feel if you got your food like that and her response was there’s nothing she could do. This is not right
