I have been to this store several time in the last few years, my experience has always been the same, slow to serve, if there is even anyone at the counter at all, employee is always unhappy and unpleasant, as if me being a paying customer is somehow an inconvenience, and half the time the product is substandard, yesterday I got a Blizzard that was so runny it was amost like chocolate milk, save your hard earned money for a business that offers a good product and appreciates your patronage!
I dont see how the have any stars. Nobody there the lady was cleaning, understand that but took a drink, then instead of even acknowledging im there started stacking the bags .. should of had a sign closed
No vanilla ice cream. How can an ice cream shop be outta vanilla? With no apologies or explanation. Very slow service
Lady does not wear gloves. Touching cones and everything with bare hands.
The management is amazing and very sweet and helpful
Not very good customer service at the counter. But the team in the back is friendly. Only can for the orange julius.
We will NEVER go to Any Dairy Queen again! I have a friend that has disabilities and is on limited income. He loves getting a strawberry babbans smoothy from Dairy Queen when we are in the mall. The cost $8 so he doesn't get one very often. One day he went to their counter to order his smoothy then came to the table empty handed. I asked him where's your smoothy he said no one would wait on him. So I got the smoothy for him they dud wait on me. Last week he tried again. This time they waited on him but when he checked his mobile banking he learned they took out $9 not $8. I tried to call them however they don't answer their phone s I called the corporate office thinking they would be concerned. I understand it's just a dallor how ever that dallor belongs to him not Dairy Queen. Well the carpet office laughed at me! When I confronted him he said I'm not laughing at you I'm laughing at the situation!😡🤬😡. I told him this isn't a laughing matter. He didn't care said I would get an email from the manager. So today we went in to talk to the so called manager. She doesn't care either. She claims that my friend must have rounded up to an even dollar. Wrong! Someone added a dollar to his card. So if you go to Dairy Queen in the Layton Hills Mall use cash not your card. He will be getting his smoothies at Prezel Maker from now on. They are better and cost less.
The worst service of my life, I will never go back there.
Tried to order and was told I couldn’t because they were on a 20 minute break, I said ok when did it start?? 10 minutes ago, 5 minutes? he said he didn’t know, it was one hour before closing and two people were on shift. I left and the 5 people behind me left too, horrible customer service.

Been at the mall for over an hour & they just keep saying they are on a 20 minute break. They close at 6 & won’t help anybody after 5. I will never bring my service back to this DQ. This is absolutely ridiculous to treat customers this way.

Worst experience at Dairy Queen, would not take our coupon, ordered 4 med blizzards, they were watery and overflowing, and the employee did not care. Will never return ever!!!

They didn't accept our coupons because apparently their scanner was broken, the blizzards themselves were extremely watery and they overfilled them, and the employees didn't bother to help and were acting very dismissive. Just go to an actual store instead of the mall.

This dairy queen may actually be worst than the one off 193.If these were my employees I'd fire them all and start over.
I don't know why they wait till there is a massive line and let people sit in line for 12 minutes before they tell you they are closed. Get a sign or employees that will say something at least. No wonder they have such low reviews.

I feel badly for the owner of the DQ on 193 in Layton. We drove by and thought they were closed. I tried the door, they were open but the open signs were off. I mentioned this to one of the young persons inside and she said she had no idea how to turn those signs on. Pretty sad.
