Ordered takeout for breakfast! Got the Nova Lox which was amazing! The hash brown cake things with cheese are soooo yummy as well! Food tasted delicious and was done super fast. Which was awesome. Fair prices and clean place too! I would recommend going there for breakfast bagels!!!!

ordered on the way to have a fast pickup, having groceries in the car. i walked in and showed the order details, was told it would take about 5-10 minutes. that's cool! so i went and sat down. 20 minutes later i ask where my order is. they had cancelled the order on accident. no stress! maybe refund me or expedite my order. it was two sandwiches. it took them another 10 minutes to get the sandwiches. i saw a whole crowd of people come in and out while waiting for my order. when i finally got it, the sandwiches were cold. it seems as though they put the whole bottle of sauce on the sandwich. i've worked in food before and understand mix ups, but the way things were handled was very disappointing.

Paid $10.03 for one bagel! I order one bagel toasted with extra strawberry cream cheese (which was extra $). Got the bagel and there wasn't even enough cream cheese to cover the bagel. So I asked how much cream cheese was supposed to be on it originally because I paid for extra and the cashier with bangs simply said I dont know. So I bought a tub just so I could put a normal amount of cream cheese on my bagel but would not come here again.

The Octoberfest Breakfast Bagel without mustard is really freaking good. And the service today when it wasn't slammed was phenomenal.

Desiree, 5-star service every time, even when its crowded! Ok, so, I've been going to this specific Einstein's bagel in Layton, for a long time and I have to say, I love, love, love, my regular staff! When I walk in Desiree, I probably chopped her name up, always greets me with a smile and resounding good morning! This greeting at 0630amvstarts my day off right, plus, she makes my bagel just the way I like it.
I’ve visited this place more than 15 times in 2025, and they usually get orders out in about 10–15 minutes. Only during their busiest hours weekends between 8:00–10:00 am have I seen wait times stretch to around 20–25 minutes.
There’s plenty of parking and seating, and the team here is phenomenal. A couple of times when I ordered ahead, someone else grabbed my order by mistake, but the staff remade it on the spot super fast and super friendly. I really appreciate their patience and effort.
They’re always polite when they interact with me, and I’ve even redeemed free bagels a few times by leaving feedback online.
My top tip? Use the order‑ahead feature, most of the time, my order is already in the pickup area as soon as I walk in. I’m always impressed by how accurate their timing is on the app.
Big kudos to the whole team for doing their best and for making such great food!
I placed an online order at 11:01 am to be done at 11:20 am. When I walked in at 11:20, they told me another 20 minutes. I finally walked out with my 3 items at 11:58. I understand it was busy, but almost an hour? I had somewhere to be and couldn't cancel my order. If you want to get it quicker, order from door dash or grubhub.
And... I'm done. Never going here again. It's been slowly declining. But, today an item was left out of my online order. I drive back, no apology, they make the item, she starts to walk it around the counter, call my name and as I get within like 8 inches from her handing it to me, she looks me right in the eye and sets it on the counter and walks off. I wasn't rude, I wasn't even able to interact enough even if I wanted to be rude. Other customers noticed and even commented to me about it as I left. So done. Oh, and the cinnamon roll was about vending machine quality.
Edit: As requested, I messaged their corporate with my experience. It's been about 3 months and received no response.
I am a delivery driver and it frustrates me that three times in the last 4 weeks I've asked the workers to verify that all items are in the order and then I get messages from my customers after I drop off that items are missing. I have had to get a hold of customer support in my delivery app to dispute low ratings from customers because of missing items that this restaurant has forgotten. I shouldn't receive low ratings as a delivery driver for this restaurant not doing its part but it happens and I'm not happy about it.

Came in at 1:58pm and they (multiple employees) talked us out of ordering because they closed in one minute. Super disappointing they wouldn’t stay a few extra minutes to serve me and my family considering I came in before they closed.
Ordered 5 blueberry bagels in our bakers dozen, got home and saw they were cranberry bagels and we didn't get the bakers dozen either - only 12. I called to explain and see if we could return the cranberry and get the blueberry but they literally hung up on me after I finished explaining. Einstein Bagels: Quality employees are not our recipe. 👌
There was no jalapeños on my jalapeño bagel:(
They people working always seem like they are annoyed to help you....
Ordered 4 bagels just straight from the baskets without slicing or anything that would take longer than going straight from the baskets to the bag. we waited over 20 minutes while everyone that ordered AFTER us got their food. When we asked the employee to just get us our things, he forgot 1 out of the 4 bagels we ordered. Called for a refund after getting home, and the manager was less than helpful. Did i mention that this isn’t the first time that we have had this happen at the same location?
