Stopped in for lunch on my way to the airport. I believe they were short staffed - it took longer than one would expect for everything - seating, ordering, food and paying.Rural cowboy architecture was comforting. Seats were comfortable.Food was delicious - Iris's Fried Chicken and Rib Tips. Ordered broccoli, got Cole Slaw. Cole Slaw was great.
Visited around the lunch rush and ordered iris down fried chicken and the Georgia chopped pork sandwich. The chicken is amazing! And the pork sandwhich goes well with the devils spit bbq sauce. The fries are wedge style and done really well. However the cornbread was a bit disappointing.Definitely worth the visit!

I had a Dave's BBQ bowl with Mac n' Cheese and Brisket. It came with a corn muffin. It was delicious! It was almost more than I could eat. A generous portion. I also shared a bread pudding with my brother! It was superb!! It was served on a good-sized platter with whipped cream on both sides and a scoop of ice cream on top!!
