It does not appear the floors have been cleaned for a loooooooong time. Very dirty atmosphere. On their menu they advertise box lunches, but that’s not an option at this store. That’s fine, how about removing it so your poor workers don’t have to explain it over and over.

Summertime

Came to have lunch there. Waited in line for ever for anybody to even come to the front. Ordered the tortilla soup. There’s basically nothing in it but corn and onions. Filling my drink I noticed the thousand pounds of dust covered on everything around the surrounding area.. service was bad. They act like they’re doing you a favor when they finally do come to the front very rude then I noticed how filthy the floors are have not been vacuumed in the front very unclean there unlikely to go back..

I had such fond memories of freshly baked bread coming here as a child. I recently went to the location in ogden and was so impressed by the experience there that I decided it was time to come back to this location to relive memories. I don't know if my experience at the Ogden location was just too great, but words can't describe how disappointing my experience here was. I dont think anything I saw or ate there was fresh and the whole space was dusty and felt dirty. I do hope someone can clean this location up, because it use to be so special and has so much potential.

I haven't been to this one in a hot minute...but never had any complaints coming here. I did however call today and the customer service given was nice, thank you! I would rather come to this one than the Clinton store...they lost my patronage.

I am a first year Jr High teacher and decided last minute to treat my classes with some homemade bread and honey during our bee unit. Joe and Caden made it happen with 100+ slices of bread the next day and they even threw in a few extra loaves for our faculty. The bread was delicious and the students loved having a healthy treat. Thanks again!

Went in to buy some merchandise real early in the morning and the red head older lady was talking to another customer about politics and believe me I don’t care who you support but politics should be left in the back, outside or at your home. Your a business sell your product and not discuss politics. It was way too early in the morning for so much hate. I almost walked out

I went in this morning on my way to work to get treats for the office. I walked in and one of the ladies in the back said they would be right with me. I stood there for about 10 minutes and nobody ever came to help me. I finally left and because they were so busy chatting I don't think they even realized I was gone.

I can't comment on the quality of the food. I came in 3 hours before closing and they said they were out of bread. It was frustrating to make a special trip there just to leave empty handed. Unfortunately, this is not the first time this has happened to me at this location.

This store is always dirty floors and bathroom, no soda machine, no ice available.

A neighbor of ours (who doesn’t really know us) did my husband and I a favor, so we decided to buy him a gift bag from Great Harvest to say “thank you.”We were kindly greeted when we entered and asked if we needed any help. When I inquired about gift baskets, they had tons to choose from! We ended up going with a simple loaf of honey wheat bread, raspberry jam, and a stack of snickerdoodle cookies. My husband and I saw a couple of treats that caught our eye, so we bought those too.The gift bag was well received and the neighbor said everything was delicious. My husband and I tried our treats and the raspberry one was to die for! The chocolate peanut butter coconut one (kahuna) was good too, but the raspberry has my heart (I think it’s called the mazerka). If we need another gift bag/basket in the future, we’ll keep Great Harvest in mind.

I came here for the sticky buns and cinnamon rolls. The girl who took my order was absolutely rude. She acted like it was an inconvenience for me to be ordering anything at all! There was no one else in the store and she was doing nothing. The sticky buttons looked like they had almost no topping and when I politely asked if there was a way to pay for any of the extra Carmel topping she responded in an irritated way, No! I asked the same about the cinnamon rolls and the frosting, Since they looked a day old & the frosting on them looked hard. She became very irritated. She told me that they were caked in frosting already. I had to insist before she would walk 10 steps to ask the person baking who very quickly & kindly got me a small cup of frosting. It took all but 10 seconds. Why she was so irritated with me I will never know. When I got home the sticky bun tasted like it had syrup draped over it and was disgusting. I was right about the cinnamon roll the frosting was very hard and after putting in the microwave for 15 seconds, I was glad I insisted on extra frosting. I will never come back here again.

I think you would get a lot more business if you used door dash or Uber eats! There have been so many times I have been craving pumpkin bread/cream swirl but I don't want to make the effort to go all the way across town for it. Delivery would be amazing! Thank you!

Great baked goods and lunchtime sandwiches. Very friendly staff with a homey feel. Highly recommended. Get these early as the treats sell out fast.

Restaurant feels super unsanitary. The floor is always super dirty. I bought 3 loafs of bread that were all undercooked and stuck together. Workers seem annoyed and bothered to help you. Love the locations in Ogden, definitely worth the extra drive for better food.

Don't come to Laytons GH. This is so sad to see the lack of standards at this particular Great Harvest. I used to live in Logan and went to Great Harvest there all the time. I will never come to this Great Harvest in Layton ever again. I'll make sure to go to Old Grist Mill or Kneaders instead. No free samples. No nice workers. The place is super dusty, the 2 girls that were working there acted like we were an inconvenience just for ordering. After the one girl who was in charge of assembly sloppily put together our sandwiches I asked for napkins and she acted like I asked for her first born child. She told me to grab the napkins off the other 2 dining tables that were already occupied on the main floor instead of grabbing some napkins from her full bag at her work station. I told her I didn't want to because they were occupied and I'm not rude. She reluctantly handed me the napkins and made me feel very uncomfortable. WILL NOT RETURN and DO NOT RECOMMEND based on other reviews this isn't new. So dang sad. Great Harvest is a wonderful company as a whole but this particular one needs major changes!
