Got a long board banana colada and coconut with a snow cap. Girl was friendly and helpful however the snow cap was rancid not sweet as usual. I think their condensed milk has gone bad. Had to throw it away. Couldn't even stomach the taste.

The girl said they got a new card reader so it doesn’t work anymore, which I don’t think is true. 100* weather and no umbrellas even. The shaved ice was much more.. gritty? than other locations. It was not the Hokulia we experience at a different location, but I wanted to check out this location since living close. Won’t be returning.

This was the first year that I needed sugar free.I went to the store in Layton on Saturday, July 1 around 6:30 PM… The young man told me they were out of sugar free or they don’t have any. I asked him what flavors do you have? When you normally have sugar-free he named about five or six different flavors but they don’t have any today. I asked him. When do you think you will get some? He hesitated and he said maybe next week?*** Very disappointed… I’m not sure if I believe him… Because, like I said, he rattled off five or six different flavors… And I find it hard to believe that all of them are out.They should always have one or two bottles of syrup that is sugar-free. I am hesitating, whether to drive all the way over to the other location… Since they don’t have a phone number… To see if they have a sugar-free flavor that I can enjoy.

Every year we get shaved ice for the last day of school at hokulia. The last few years we've had to come to the Layton location because thr Riverdale one closes randomly or doesn't open at all. We looked to make sure this one would be open this year. We got here and it's closed. Even though online says it would be open. I wish your actual hours reflected accurately online so we didn't waste time traveling around to come to your location. It's summer and 80°outside. I really don't understand why none of your locations are reliable to be open.

Went to hokulia tonight for the first time this season and it was awesome! It has always been my favorite every season and I love how each year there’s always new employees welcoming me with a smile!! I got tigers blood with ice cream and snow cap and they made it fantastic once again!! I will for sure keep going back!!
Went for the first time this afternoon and had a wonderful experience! I was pleasantly surprised with the serving size and the girls were great! This is likely their first customer service experience an I think it’s a great way to start out. Keep up the good work! I’ll definitely be a returning customer.

I’ve given this one a shot for the 3rd time tonight. Each time we have received horrible customer service from the girls. They had nasty attitudes each time. Eye rolling, the whole 9 yards. They have their friends hanging around to talk. I was hoping the first two experiences were a one off but it’s been made clear that these girls hired clearly don’t care about providing good customer service.
