It would have been 5stars but when I ordered online they added their own $5 tip.

My husband and I used to order from here a lot, but the place has clearly changed hands. The fried rice is just rice with a whole lot of soy sauce in it, no green onions, no egg, no nothing. The sweet and sour chicken was absolutely swimming in bottled sweet and sour sauce - again, none of the things that give the sauce it's flavor, like bell peppers and pineapple. And by swimming, I mean floating. The pork was cooked to death and dry. The spring rolls came straight out of the freezer.
Never again.

I gave no idea who is giving this lots of stars, this is not chinese food, and not cooked by any asian from any asian country. I lived in Chinatown in San Francisco with 80 authentic chinese food i suspect due to the decor, no buddha anywhere just cats, whuch are barely chinese and more Mexico, this is a mexican resturant which is fine if you can cook. The food is not using flavors easily purchased all over Layton, rice should never be that dark it was as dark as spanish rice, triple the soy sauce, no greens at all, no xio wine, no real flavors, and the egg rolls are horrible they should have copied Natasha cooks on you tube for egg rolls an Ukrainian cook is better than these frozen ones dhe who dies it 100 times better, and cheap. Plus sweet and sour chicken should not be floating in and the sauce should be seperate or much thicker you know a little bit of corn starch, and speaking of that cubed dry chicken not coated and fried on corn starch is a basic chinese recipe, the sauce has to be out uf a bottle its not real stuff its like water, and sweet and sour has large chopped onions and peppers and authentic would have pineapple. These are not Chinese or any asian recipes, the rice was definitely not made three days ago and cooled like every chinese restaurant does. I suspect its owned by someone who has never tasted real chinese american food, why theyre cooking bottled sauce, premade egg rolls, dried cubed chichen with no crunchy batter, i also suspect because utah has a horrible chinese profile, this place will be around until they find better places that are all around the mexican girl at the front was nice, but made sure the kitchen curtain had no openings to see the back while she poured soda out of a can into a earth killing plastic cup. I would not recommend ever, they are not doing it even close and its exspensive for bad when good allows price changes. I see you jacking up all your 2 star reviews, your resturant is dead all fue to recipes you just dont get, its a profile you dont know, ive been cooking chinese fir 40 yrs

Not one to write a review normally but here it goes. I used to love this place but I can honestly say I will never go back there again. we ordered 4 different dishes and not one person liked their food especially the rubber chicken and brown chicken chop suey. New owner or new cook whatever it's not the same.

Never written a bad for food but bleh……. Wouldn’t eat again even if it was free. This place used to be good. Even Panda Express teriyaki chicken taste better than it did here.

Loved the food here. I just stopped by to do electrical in the kitchen and decided ti have lunch here.
I was very very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service. The Shrimp Fried Rice was excellent. The egg drop soup left a little to be desired but, good nonetheless!

I won’t order from here again. I am a long time customer. They must have changed management. Quality is way down, portions way smaller. Not goo food anymore.
Good food! Have no complaints about anything I've ordered so far from the Menu.
Previous owners retired late mid-late summer 2024. Visited a few weeks after the new owners took over and they have changed the menu and recipes and it’s just not good at all now. Service is incredibly slow, food is not hot or fresh, my dish was inedible. They did the right thing and took it off the check since I only choked down 2 bites. I’m seeing similar experiences from others on other review forums. Really unfortunate what’s happened to a once successful business.
We used to eat this place all of the time. Recently there have been some changes and it is very disappointing.): I’m afraid we will not be ordering again.

This place has new owners. I miss the sweet lady that used to run this place. You can tell they are using less quality chicken. Egg rolls are horrible and the LoMein is basically a plate of bean sprouts. We used to love this place, now we'll be looking elsewhere for our Chinese food fix.

I loved Imperial Dragon before the new management change. The food was awful the menu very limited and the service was slow. Won’t be back!

Sadly, this is under new management and not same. We ordered takeout and we always get sweet and sour chicken and sesame chicken, it used to be large portions. Now the portions are smaller and the chicken seems to be frozen chicken, that is crunchy and hard to chew with a little sauce on them. The old chicken seemed to be fresh/breaded chicken. We ended up tossing most of our sesame chicken as it was too tough/overcooked to eat. Paid more for less food. I won't be back
