Ordered from the app to have them outsource it to doordash. They can only locate me 1 out of 4 times and this time the driver spoke zero English and drove around for 45 minutes and we still had to go meet him 1/4 mile from here after he hung up on me. I don't order door dash for this reason and now I guess I'm dpne with papa johns too. Not to mention my app was hacked and someone used my rewards points in another state and even changed the name and address on my account.

Review for Papa John’s in Layton:
This is hands down the worst Papa John’s location I’ve ever ordered from. My experience was an absolute nightmare. My one large pizza took an hour and a half to be delivered, and when I tried to call to check on my order, I was put on hold for 30 minutes before I finally gave up and hung up. It gets worse.
I ordered 3 additional sauces, which I paid for, and they never even arrived. When the pizza finally showed up, it was soggy, unappetizing, and honestly looked like someone didn’t care one bit about quality.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this location at all costs. Save your money and your sanity—there are better options out there. This place is a disaster.

Well, I wasn't going to put this in, because of what happened after, it's going in the review. Pulling up to the place, there's this group standing by the door smoking, vaping, or something. Just didn't smell great when I walked past. I walk into the store and people from the group came in to help me with the order. Not the greatest impression to see a group of people by a place and only come work when someone walks in while the cooks are do their job. When what seemed like a new hire lost about where things are, gathered my order. The others went back outside and then back inside when another customer came in. I understand days can be stressful, and long. I felt bad for the cooks, wondering they got breaks while others went to go take a long break with their friends. For how tired a couple of the employees sound, I'm worried. Is there enough staff? Now when it comes to pizza. There was hardly any cheese and toppings on my special Hawaiian thin crust pizza. Not a lot of cheese on the Hawaiian BBQ Chicken, either. I didn't really want extra cheese. Just enough to cover the whole pizza and hold the toppings down. I had areas of the pizza not covered with cheese or toppings. The best part of it was the Alfredo pizza, was absolutely perfect and delicious though. Cookie always spot on.
Ordered through the app, was charged through my bank…tried to see where my order was, and the app said no recent orders. So I called to talk to the store. No orders under my name or phone number in their system. So I asked them what are we going to do because I was charged the money was taken out of my bank but now I have no pizza for me and my kids?! I said can I please send a screenshot of proof that I was charged for this order so I can get my pizza. They said no I can call the Help center. I said what is that they’re like. Oh it’s a place that you could call. I said I’m calling you. This is your job. I said can I speak to your manager and the guy says I am the manager. This is the world we’re living in where there is no customer service. Nobody is willing to help you and when technology goes south you’re just screwed for 30 days until your dispute is done with your bank. I will never use Papa Johns ever again.

There was only one worker. And they were outside talking with their girlfriend until i headed into the store. So the order took 15 minutes longer than it should have
I rarely order food, but this was going to be a cheat meal for me. I live two miles from the place but since it was a cheat meal, I decided to have it delivered. I saw it leave the restaurant and go to an apartment. No big deal, multiple deliveries, I get it. 25 minutes later, it leaves and heads to my house. I can only assume the driver went home for dinner since it was that time. The pizza was luke warm at best. I've never had to microwave a pizza delivered in my life. I'll go back to cooking my own food. Things like this are the reason I hate delivery and then they expect a 20-25% up front to do a terrible job. I was so excited to finally get delivered food and I get complete crap service. I would rather have bought a Walmart pizza and cooked it myself, it would have been hot and ready before this was.

Wow. I came in, and one worker (Jordan) was manning the whole shop like a boss. He had an excellent attitude, he helped me with my coupon, and he was very personable, despite his intense workload. This guy deserves a raise.

I didn't notice them until I ate one and pulled a ginger hair from my mouth. Notice how in the picture the hair is black- there are multiple people dropping hairs into the food. If that's not a problem I don't know what is.
They did offer me a refund which I gladly took, but that's still crazy. I counted five different hairs, all of which were likely facial hair.
I was a regular customer here, but I'm never coming back. So if you do order from this Papa Johns, just make sure to check if there's hair before you start eating or you might get a nasty surprise.
