1st time and The food was delicious even my picky eater loved it. Was surprised of the smothered tamales but man it was good. They are huge and filled with plenty of meat. This place needs more recognition! The son helped me and was super friendly and acknowledged me as soon as I walked in

This family run Mexican restaurant is very near to our neighborhood. It was a welcome addition to the area when it opened a few years ago. We find ourselves here on average of twice per month. The owners/managers are so warm and personable. They have lunch specials that come with a soft drink that are reasonably priced. Some of our favorite lunch specials are the Chili Verde burritos and the beef chimichanga. Other menu items that are highlights are the Macho Jalapeños appetizer, chili relleno and the honey, chipotle shrimp tacos. Save room for one of the house made desserts!

My boyfriend surprised me by taking us to Postre Cafe and it was such a great experience! The food was delicious! I got the Postre enchiladas with the most delicious white sauce and my boyfriend had the Baja (grilled fish) tacos and we enjoyed everything so much. Great atmosphere, very clean, and great service. We are excited to come back!
Yuuuuck. I feel bad for the low rating because I love supporting small but this is probably the worst Mexican in Layton. $9 for microwave chips and cheese calling it nachos is diabolical. The rest of the food really just lacked complex flavors i expect from good Mexican.
