I’ve been coming here since I was a teenager. They used to have an older location on Main Street in Layton. Then they moved near Layton high school family owned across from Winco in Layton. The prices are starting to climb a little, but the food is still the same they’re very popular for having the best Scones with honey butter, come in and try some yummy! Cafe style. No thrills or frills place.

The people seem really nice and the prices for the scones have they always been so high? I wouldn’t spend 5 dollars for a single scone maybe I’m cheap. But I ordered it to go when I got to work they were hard as a rock not even editable. Overcooked.

Great place for a delicious no frills breakfast. I got the biscuits and gravy and tried some of a scone. Both were great. The bacon is thick cut and delicious. The kids ate their pancakes without complaint.
We came on a Saturday at 8:30 and waited 20 minutes. The place was slammed, obviously very popular. They have a small dining room, so it’s quite loud. We had a group of 6 and it felt a bit tight.

If you want delicious scones as big as a dinner plate & good classic American diner food for a reasonable price, this is your place. The prices & location are the biggest changes in the 20+ years I’ve been eating here.
If you want fancy brunch in a cute expensive restaurant to impress your girlfriends this is not for you. It’s old and basic.
I always get the mini breakfast with bacon & a scone leave stuffed & satisfied.

We had never been here before but have always heard good things about this place so we finally gave it a try and it did not disappoint, the waitress’ were so sweet and kind, the food was amazing, the portions are so good that I was so full, I was not able to try one of their famous scones, but I’ll be back.
