Sushi Burrito and Poke Bowl in Layton

I have had this place a few times. A sushi burrito, some bento boxes, and some sashimi. I enjoyed the Sashimi the most. Three orders of yellow tail and it tasted great, needed nothing else. The thing about it is, they prepare exactly what you order. I know that sounds kind of like what everywhere does. It’s just that some of their options almost seem like they shouldn’t be options to me. Since they are such basic items. So if you order something basic, then don’t expect to be surprised at all. It will come exactly as you ordered.

The atmosphere seems to be mostly loyal customers, you don’t really hear about it except from people who enjoy this style of food, and in the town everyone probably already knows who likes it in their lives and doesn’t .

It is definitely a family owned establishment which I think gives it a genuine nature. I can see how it could be off putting, but you can tell they are genuine people so I think it makes up for it and things are in acceptable conditions probably more so than a lot of people I know if they just opened their doors to the public. So keep that in mind before you go there.

I’ve only ever had their sushi burritos but had a few different ones and they’re delish! Make them fresh in front of you. And the family that own the place are lovely. Their little boy is very cute!

Good portions burritos were delicious. But be specific if u want burrito and a rolls because i ordered a spicey roll, saw the name was only on the roll menu, and gave me 2 burritos.

Good food. Good portions. Very good prices (for what you get). Service is good.

Most of their customers do take out. However, if you wanted to dine in, then they have a handful of tables and you’ll reliably get one with no wait. This is a family owned, family friendly restaurant and you should expect to see and hear young children. If you’re planning a romantic date night, maybe consider takeout to another location.

This is hands down my favorite sushi spot in Layton. The prices are great for how much food you get, and the portions are always generous. The staff is super friendly, and if there’s something you don’t like, they’re more than happy to make adjustments. The atmosphere is just as awesome—they’ve got Japanese lanterns and colorful tapestries that give the place a unique, cozy vibe. I’ve been here many times and will definitely keep coming back.

We decided to try something new for dinner on our way to a concert and we’re NOT disappointed. Ordered the Volcano sushi burrito. It was perfectly wrapped, crunchy, savory, and packed a lot of flavor in every bite. The workers were friendly and helpful as it was our first time ordering a sushi burrito. We will definitely be coming back! Btw the sushi burrito was huge and was great to split between the two of us with another entree.
