The food was good, I took pictures and was getting ready to write a great review, but we were surprised by extra charges at checkout. Our bill went from $37 to $50 without explanation. When I asked, they showed me a detailed receipt revealing a $7.50 extra charge for dividing rice and beans onto paper plates for our 3 kids. It felt dishonest not to mention it earlier or even when checking out, it wouldn't be an issue. Wish we had checked reviews mentioning money issues before. Won't be going back.

The food was not very good. The chili rellenos were oily, cold and had no sauce and little flavor. Nothing but meat in the street tacos. They had some salsas and pickled vegetables available but no Pico de gallo. The horchata was wonderful.

We were so impressed with the wide variety on the menu, the deliciousness of the food, and the kind service. We ordered alpastor tacos and a huge family platter with steak, chicken, Shrimp, cactus, onion that came with rice, beans, picó de gallo, tortillas, and guacamole. It was delicious!!! It was the first time I had cactus, and it was wonderful. My son has had it several times, and he said it was the best he had ever had. The food is VERY authentic. If you want authentic food, with good music playing, and a great salsa bar...go here.

I placed an order online and they were apparently having computer issues because they weren't aware of it when I went in. However they immediately took down the order and made my food fresh and it was out very quickly! The food was delicious and they were friendly. This is an incredibly authentic Mexican restaurant. This is one of the few places in the area where you can get pozole with meat on the bone, let alone many of the other things on the menu! I highly recommend this place if you are looking for real Mexican food. The inside is pretty laid back, more like a diner than a restaurant, and the staff is primarily Spanish speaking (I don't say this as a bad thing at all, but I think people should know that going in.)

Good food over the years. But over the years, the quality has diminished. I'm done taking a risk hoping the good cook is there...Good luck to ya guys.

Great little place! Food was really good and the portions were really big for the size. We went during lunch and were the only people there! There is a salsa bar I just wish they gave you chips to try each of the salsas. Maybe it was on the menu but I missed it. We had the pork chili Verde burrito and the quesabirria. Both were really good! Can't wait to go back and try some different things!

Had the $8.99 Quesa Birra special today. It consists 3 Birras. A Birra is 2 seven inch corn tortillas lightly cooked in a Chile infused oil with melting style cheese layered on them followed by meat then jalapenos Mine were queso and tender cooked (not shredded), flank steak. The second tortilla is placed, cheese face down and melted together. It comes with a cup of dipping sauce consisting of a base of bland warm roho with fresh raw onions and cilantro. The sign showed a cup of guacamole came with it too but it was not delivered until I asked for it. They were EXCELLENT but a little messy to eat.I also tried the two green salsas, the two rohos, Mexican pickles, and gardenella. All were mild, fresh, and tasty.I thought 2.99 was a little pricey for a fountain Coke but then the cost of everything has become inflated now.I'm happy to find this place so close to home and will be returning to try other items on the menu. Menu prices run in the $10 - $20 range with a very good selection of dishes. No alcohol. Good seating and seems to be family friendly. Men's restroom was clean but out of paper towels.Try it for yourself and you will likely become a regular too.
