Came to the Layton location and arrived at 10:30 and drive thru was closed and doors were locked. Several employees were inside still and saw us out there. Hours should be changed on your website if you don’t stay open until then.
Closed an HOUR before posted time.
My family has been coming here since they first opened! We love that there are so many different fun Italian ice flavors with the option to mix with ice cream (actually frozen yogurt). We always seem to be helped by the same young lady who is so helpful and courteous. I think her name is Brooke and she always appears to be working so hard and cleaning! Teenage employees like her must be hard to find nowadays.

Atmosphere was nice. Was a little cold inside. There seemed to be only 1 worker there which made things a little slow, but Zeppe’s is one of those places that hits the spot on a warm day. I love their flavors and it’s always a refreshing treat worth the price. They have a nice patio that you can eat your dessert on outside or seating inside if you prefer A/C.
Parking: It’s connected to a strip mall with lots of parking options.
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. Saw a few eating their ice cream while we were there. I believe they also have baby high chairs if you need them.
Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible by wheelchair as the concrete is level with the parking lot.

No idea if they’re good, we just know they’re rude and utterly incompetent. Got there 30 minutes before closing, 5 cars in line, 2 cars got through in that 30 minutes then a lady rudely came out and told us to leave. I won’t bother to try again.

We drove all the way out here because google says they’re open on Sundays at 11:30 only to find out that they’re closed. Super disappointed.
Change your hours. Says you are open on Sunday but you aren’t.

The food and atmosphere for the most part is always great but I think the owners should definitely focus on training their staff. I get that they are teenagers but constantly getting my order wrong and then providing horrible customer service when I try to get my order fixed has been a common issue.
Example situation- I ordered an Italian ice with ice cream in the drive thru. I was charged for the wrong size, at the window the manager said she’d have to refund my order then re-charge my card. To save her the trouble I said just give me the size I paid for……… came home and no Ice cream was in my order.(1st world problems, I know) The problem was when I called them and asked them about the order I was told that I “should have known they don’t do ice cream in that size”(the size I didn’t order)………..anyways when I asked for a refund, the MANAGER said “you’d have to come back, idk if you ate it or not”. Hahahahaha just terrible customer service
Mangolada was delicious though and I’d definitely recommend the churro donut. Just ranting tonight since my daughter and I missed out on the ice cream we wanted.

I just waited over a half hour in line in the drive through with only two cars ahead of me. When I finally arrived at the window they didn’t have my order, asked me what I ordered and were trying to enter it in. She had to call someone else to help her enter my order. After another couple of minutes I just left. I couldn’t stand it anymore. Terrible service and extremely frustrating. I wanted to spend some time with my wife not waiting in line. I go here often, and the service is usually really good. Very disappointed this time.
