A Sweet Little Stop with So Much to Love
Leeds Trading Post is one of those places that’s hard to resist—especially when you’re craving something sweet. Their ice cream is amazing: super creamy, rich, and full of flavor. My absolute favorite is the Pralines & Cream (crunchy nuts + caramel goodness = perfection). My kids always go for the Rainbow Sherbet, and the Raspberry Chocolate Chunk is a standout too—little chocolate chunks with a creamy raspberry filling inside. So good.
They also have a huge collection of souvenirs and fun little toys, which makes it a great stop if you’re visiting with kids. The honey sticks are another favorite—tons of fun flavors, always rotating, and such a good deal (three for a dollar!). They’re my go-to treat for kids because they’re simple, affordable, and always a hit. I also loved their caramels and the scorpion suckers when they had them, though they seem to sell out fast.
Their desserts deserve a shoutout too. The muddy pie was fabulous—rich, creamy, crunchy Oreo-style crust with lemon toffee bits on top. Absolutely delicious. The key lime pie was a little on the sweet side for me, but still good quality.
Customer service is usually great—most of the staff are friendly and welcoming, though there is one employee who’s a bit less warm. Thankfully, everyone else more than makes up for it.
The only real downside is the price—it can be a little pricey. Still, the quality, variety, and convenience make it worth it, especially if you live nearby and want a quick, sweet treat.
Overall, Leeds Trading Post is a fun, cozy spot with incredible ice cream, tasty treats, and lots of charm. Definitely worth a stop—just try not to walk in hungry!
This is my favorite little shop in town! The owner, Alison is amazing and so friendly!
Great little shop for some sugar
We are so lucky to have this cute store in our small town. Great place to get a souvenirs from local artist's and if you have a sweet craving great place to get yourself an ice cream cone great flavors to chose from. Check it out.
Get the ice cream!!! So good
What a fantastic little store with a surprising variety of gifts and eats. The food was really good! Prices were good. The lady working there was very friendly and helpful. My brother got a huge cinnamon roll and it was DELICIOUS! I got a buch of local honey sticks in a variety of flavors, a turkey sandwich and a piece of coconut pie. ALL VERY GOOD!! Its a great little place for a quick stop and a bite. Nestled at the base of the mountains.
Cute , funky little store. We stopped and got a Jackson hole soda (yum) and I got the lemon ice cream that was so good. Great stop on the way to the freeway from the reservoir.
The wonderful lady working the first time we stopped was sweet and funny, and we enjoyed our visit so much, we actually went back hoping to speak with her again! We met a different clerk, but she was also very sweet.
Not what it use to be a few urs ago. I missed how it was, but still a cute little shop.
They have Farmstead Bakery items here!
Restaurantji Recommends
I feel fortunate to have Leeds Trading Post in my neighborhood as a place to find locally made Farmstead pastries, homemade pies, ice cream, and souvenirs. It's the perfect place to stop after hiking or mountain biking in Red Cliffs, or off-roading above town. The staff are always friendly, and the owners give back to the Leeds community with donations and volunteerism.
Tip: If you like sticky buns, try the Farmstead kouign amanns.
The quiche was absolutely incredible, and the customer service was top-notch. This place has a great selection of fun, unique items along with essentials like water, sodas, and other drinks. Once, it literally saved me from serious thirst after a long ride on Turkey Farm Road! I can totally see this spot becoming the next Veyo Pies as more locals and tourists discover the amazing mountain(mtb) and gravel biking in the area. Highly recommend it for hungry and thirsty cyclists.
Parking: Strip mall with plenty of parking.
Kid-friendliness: The kids would love this place. Cool rock selection and other knickknacks. Fun collectable stickers! Jewelry, tourist t-tshirt.
Wheelchair accessibility: One level with ramp
