Overall the bowls and salads are good and sometimes great. Chicken is a bit dry but salmon is excellent. Greens are good and they offer good variety. On the healthier side with minimal dressing, fats added etc. Sweet potato bites are excellent and unique along with the complimentary cheese bread with each entree. Can get a bit noisy but casual atmosphere is nice. self serve drinks makes for a meet n greet or hangout easy and non formal.
Dietary restrictions: They offer a great variety.
Wheelchair accessibility: Open space and some tables can be modified

Update 2025: We haven't been coming here much lately due to the declining experience over the past few years. Sadly, they got rid of the vegan Mac & cheese yet again, which is probably the nail in the coffin for us - that was the best option for our kids to eat. I can still appreciate what Aubergine stands for and the healthy ingredients they use, but it's hard to be a customer anymore. And the pricing is still way too high on their mediocre desserts and smoothies.
Update 2024: After an 8 month break, we finally came back, and as expected there were changes again. Mostly good changes though - we love the new bread on the Avocado Cashew Melt and they have some new desserts and smoothies which sound delicious and in a more healthful direction. We were pretty disappointed they got rid of the kids mac & cheese yet again, but at least the vegan Mac & cheese is still able to be purchased. All of the desserts are definitely overpriced for their size though
Update 2023 AGAIN: Good news, the Mac & cheese is back! Bad news, bad changes were made again. The menu changed yet again and they changed the ordering process as well. At our most recent visit we waited 30 minutes (with a hungry, upset toddler) before being informed our order receipt didn't print. Another 15 minutes later we finally got our food with things missing from our Rio bowl and nothing to make up for the wait. Still love the food, but each visit keeps getting worse lately
Update 2023: Aubergine changed their menu for like the 3rd time in the past year and this time we aren't the happiest with the changes. They completely got rid of the mac & cheese that my daughter absolutely loved, and I actually loved too - the best vegan Mac & cheese I've had. They also changed up our favorite bowl, The Rio, which is one of their signature/popular bowls - why would you change up the recipe on a popular item that's already well loved? The red cabbage absolutely doesn't fit with that bowl. I do appreciate that they were finally able to come up with a nutrition calculator, though I question how accurate it is. I hope there was real reasons for all the changes because we will probably find ourselves visiting less often now.
Update 2022: Aubergine has improved and is now our favorite again! We recently changed our diet to a plant based diet, so this is one of the only restaurants we can eat. We really appreciate their fresh, healthy ingredients. The sweet potato bites have been doing much much better and the service is awesome now as well. So glad to see positive change!
Update 2021: We still love the Aubergine for their healthy food options. Unfortunately, we've been a bit disappointed lately. Im not sure if there was a change in management, but the workers aren't near as friendly and the overall experience seems to be more chaotic. They updated their menu, which was probably needed, but it's much more confusing and they removed one of our favorite bowls - Trip Tip Feta. The past 2 or 3 times we've ordered the Sweet Potato Bites and they're either burnt or just plain not edible from sitting out for hours. Our steak also has had a similar situation and our banana monkey shakes have had too much cinnamon. Just a disappointment for how much potential this restaurant has.
We love Aubergine! Great option for healthier food and it leaves you feeling great afterwards. It does cost a pretty penny compared to fast food, but that's the price to pay for healthier food. Our favorite bowl is the Rio, cheese bread is to die for, and we highly recommend the Banana Monkey shake!
Our very first experience was this location and they helped with recommendations and were very friendly.

Too expensive!!! Their points system is deceptive. And their smoothies are bland and are almost as pricey as their bowls. Customer service was poor. I was the only person in line and waited a long time to be acknowledged and did not get everything that I ordered.

I’m torn on this one because the bowls are good (love the almond wild rice as the base) but I ordered the hi-vibe smoothie and it was inedible, literally the worst smoothie I’ve had possibly in my entire life…and it was $12. If I hadn’t ordered “to go” I would have sent it back and I am NOT one to do that! I am so disappointed that I had to throw it out and waste $.
Update: Aubergine reached out promptly to apologize and clarify that what we experienced was not normal or representative of their usual standards. They handled the situation professionally, and I truly appreciate their effort to resolve the issue so quickly. Based on this response and my consistently positive experiences in the past, I’m updating my review to reflect the quality and care I’ve come to expect from them. Looking forward to continuing to enjoy their great food in the future!
Recent changes… and not for the better! We’ve been long-time fans of Aubergine, but our recent order left us feeling more than a little short-changed—literally. The portion sizes have shrunk dramatically, and we’re talking snack-sized for a sixth grader levels here. Check out these pics for the underwhelming proof. When I called, I learned this decision came straight from the owner. Sorry, Aubergine, but I’m not shelling out full-grown-adult prices for a protein bowl that looks like it’s prepping for recess.

I have been going to Aubergine for years and have attended this location 3-4 times. This last time is my final time here.
I asked for a modification to be made and was told they can’t do it. Switching whole wheat bread for pita.
It was disappointing as I had been looking forward to the muhammara dish for weeks.

I don't ever write reviews, but as someone who's been coming to Aubergine since 2017 ordering various bowls at various locations and appreciating their quality food and ingredients, I just had the worst trip-tip madeira experience. Every single piece was filled with sinew and inedible.
Really disappointing especially given their price.
Disgusting staff members and disgusting food really wouldn’t recommend going here

Food was ok...
But portions ?
I ordered the tri tip sandwich...
5 little pieces of meat....the rest just vegetables....$16.?
Not again....
Well... food was 20 mins late then the time I was told. Later told me they did not have the right bread for one of the sandwiches.. which is fine, then told me 5 mins after that one of the orders had onions on accident. We said no onions. took another 10 mins to make the new sandwich. Drink we ordered was not filled to the top either. They brought me a cookie so... cool.. didn't want it. Looked gross. Place is way to pricy to have this many issues. Oh they said they gave me more bread... cool.. They were not busy.

Best restaurant I’ve been to in a while. The cashier was incredible in providing recommendations, samples and discounts. Will be coming back whenever I’m in town. The cheese bread was insanely good. They let us sit, brought us our food and cleaned it up as well.

Aubergine Kitchen is absolutely fantastic! Their menu offers a perfect blend of flavor and nutrition, and I can’t get enough of their Óptimos — they’re both delicious and healthy. Whether you’re in the mood for a quick snack or a full meal, there’s something for everyone. On top of that, the staff is always welcoming and friendly, making every visit a great experience. Highly recommend if you’re looking for wholesome food with excellent service!

The flavors are great. My only frustration is the amount of kale that gets put on almost every dish. This visit I got the egg bowl for breakfast. There was three times the amount of kale as there was egg in the dish. Way toooo much. This was my first time getting breakfast so I had no idea how much would be used. I know kale is a "super food" but this is too much of a good thing.
