90% sure i got food poisoning from here like several other recent reviews have mentioned. It was bad enough that I had to visit urgent care after.
I recently visited this restaurant with my husband and son. The food was good, and we were enjoying our time — until we received the check. We noticed that a 20% gratuity had been automatically added to our bill, even though we were only a party of three. According to their menu policy, gratuity is only added for groups of five or more.
What bothered me most is that I always leave a tip, and there was no need to include it without informing us. It felt like they did it just because we’re Latino, and that’s not okay — it felt like we were being unfairly judged.
We won’t be returning, but I wanted to share our experience so others are aware.
We tried Baan Thai for the first time. We were really disappointed in the chicken in the orange chicken dish and chicken satay. The chicken satay had a weird dried out rubbery texture that wasn’t enjoyable and was more like chicken jerky. The yellow curry had a nice flavor but that chicken was also dried out. Not sure what was going on with the chicken that day.
SEVERE FOOD POISONING. Avoid at all costs.
Food poisoning!! 6 of us got SO SICK and one ended up in the ER.
Best Thai around. Absolutely love their Pad Thai, Panang Curry, Massaman Curry, and Curry Dumplings. My wife and I eat here 2-3 times a month.
First time here. Everything was delicious. The portions were a good size too
Great food and service! Love the decorations and atmosphere, too. My only complaint is that it was a bit cold for me, but I can get past that. I've visited Baan before and every time it was incredible.
Best Thai food we've ever had. We had the spring rolls, and drunken noodles, delicious flavor, and fresh. The service was incredible! I will recommend this restaurant to everyone.

The food is usually great. I get it to go because I work down the street….
But today? it’s priced OUTRAGEOUSLY for what you get. Their $14 avacodo fresh spring rolls are just salad (no noodles, no tomato, no basil) wrapped in a spring roll wrapper with ONE slice of avocado. The papaya salad ($13) was about 3tbs of papaya, and iceberg lettuce and cashews. It just fell massively short of what I’ve come to love and expect from baan. I won’t be back anytime soon.

Went there for dinner last night & something in the food set my husband’s seafood allergy. So if you have allergies this might not be the place because there is cross contamination for sure.
Also very overpriced for what you get, the rice portion that came with my Pra Ram was ridiculous & I didn’t dare ask for more. Very flavorful tho!!
Great customer service, delicious food. We'll be back for sure.

I am so disappointed to have to give a bad review for the Lehi location. Three different times/horrid situations (obviously I did not learn my lesson after the first time. I was hoping it was just a one time thing….but THREE is out of control)!
1- We found an ANT in my rice.
2- We found a HAIR in my food.
3- We found TWO HAIRS in my food (this one was yesterday).
After the first situation, I called the restaurant to notify them. Their response: Thank you for letting us know.

Pretty good Thai overall. The only complaint we all had was that they should give a larger portion of rice with your meal.
