Tied for best sushi in utah with their salt lake location. It is so good. Best sushi I've had in utah. It is so authentic and delicious. If you want sushi, give this place a try they are far better than other lehi sushi spots.

Over rated restaurant.
Beef was overcooked and tough. Spicy edamame were too sweet.
If you’re looking for overpriced Japanese/Chinese food served with a side of attitude, this is your spot! Took my daughter for dinner, ordered ramen… and apparently, utensils and napkins are optional here. After playing a fun game of “ask for everything,” they brought what I needed—but not without throwing in some serious side-eye. The only time they smiled? When it was time to pay, and surprise, a tip was required. Honestly, the ramen wasn’t bad, but the service was saltier. 10/10, never again!

Very good sushi and the best fried calamari that I have ever had. I will be back to try more of their menu for sure. Great service for work group of 14 people. I will definitely be back.

I was so excited when they opened their second location in Lehi! I’ve been a fan of their downtown spot for a while, and the new location did not disappoint. The ambiance is modern and welcoming, and the service is just as friendly and attentive as I remember. The sushi is fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor—everything from the classic rolls to their more creative offerings is top-notch. If you’re a sushi lover, this is a must-visit. I’m thrilled to have them closer to home and can’t wait to be back!

I’ve always gotten take out so I can’t speak too much about service, but the nigiri selection is extensive and well priced for being in Utah. Rolls are really good as well. My favorites are the volcano, executive and kill bill roll.

Literally the MOST FRESH sushi I have ever had, 10/10, comparable to sushi I’ve had in Hawaii ? even the rice was freshly made. I live 10 min from here but 10000% would drive an hour to get this sushi if I needed to!

I recently moved to the SLC area and have been looking for good sushi. Hamanchi is my new go-to sushi restaurant. Sushi was delicious, service was great, and in a chill atmosphere.

With a shellfish allergy (amongst several other severe to life-threatening food allergies and sensitivities), it is so important to have a kitchen and wait staff that are knowledgeable and take pride in their attention to detail. This was my first visit to Hamachi and was a very pleasant experience. They took my many allergies into account and were able to confirm right away they use imitation crab and do not use olive oil in the recipes for the items I selected without a need to research or look at a lot of labels.
The sushi was delicious, and I didn't have any signs of allergies from cross-contamination. I will definitely be going back here.
Dietary restrictions: They cook and prepare their food from raw ingredients and have a kitchen staff capable of adapting to base ingredient removals and substitutions. From a person with several severe and life-threatening allergies, this is truly ideal when eating out.
Parking: Shared parking lot with several other restaurants and fast food businesses, but I have rarely found it difficult to find a parking spot here.
