A fresh take on Hawaiian style food. The food was made fresh to order and in about 10 minutes, had a lot of meat and tasted great. One serving size was satisfying as well which is a lost art in today’s economy. It was nice seeing a different idea executed well! Don’t listen to the wanna be Michelin star reviewers, sadly I don’t think they have a clue what actual Hawaiian food taste like.

Amazing! So incredibly delicious. Amazing staff super friendly and attentive. Best service I’ve had in all of Utah. I had the number 4 and the flavor of the rice was outstanding. The hint of coconut and the smokiness of the pork was heaven. The fresh pineapple chefs kiss. Honestly this is the best Hawaiian food I’ve ever had 10/10

I tend to favor restaurants that do their one thing really well over those that do a bit of everything. Porky's Kaua'i absolutely fits that bill. Just about everything on the trim menu is built on the same 4 ingredients: slow-roasted pork, grilled onions, pineapple, and their signature sauce (available sweet and spicy).I got the grilled cheese - delicious, well proportioned and with a nice cheese blend. Additionally, the kids grilled cheese has the same blend - no Kraft singles here.The service was excellent, the place was clean and cute, the music was pleasant. Big recommend.Note: the sauce contains soy (no gluten), and the onions contain butter.

Super flavorful food. Even the rice had nice flavor, maybe a hint of coconut? Not sure but it was tender and good. Everything was cooked just right. The staff is very friendly from the moment you walk in. I was greeted with smiles and helpful service. The price point is great for the amount of food you get. I left very full.

Super awesome experience. My wife and a few of our friends visited close to closing hours. We called ahead to make sure to make sure it would be alright; Justin answered and was happy to have us despite the time.Upon our arrival, Justin suggested I get the rice bowl since I was very hungry. I went against his judgement and got the grilled cheese because of the reviews I had read. The sandwich with the sauce did not disappoint. My wife got the smaller rice bowl and enjoyed that as well. Justin checked on or party multiple times to get us water and more sauce. He then brought out a big complimentary container of rice for me because I had mentioned how hungry I was when we ordered. We could not have had a better first experience here. The food was good and Justin's care for his customer's took it over the top. I also should mention that the prices were very fair. A bit cheaper than your typical Hawaiian joint.I definitely recommend giving this place a shot. Justin is an impressive owner.

This place is SO GOOD! I ordered the grilled cheese with the kalua pork and it was absolute perfection! I almost forgot about the tasty sauce that comes with because the pork paired with the havarti and Muenster cheese on the sandwich was so yummy on its own. The sauce takes it to another level. The staff was super friendly, and made suggestions on what to try. The place just has great vibes. We will definitely be back soon ??

Was really really really excited to come here and experience Hawaiian food as I've heard all good things....but sadly it was a bit of disappointment.We came at the wrong time, right smack in the middle of lunch on a weekend. Note to self, do not come here when the lunch rush starts - there's going to be no seating for you. A small place and the experience could've been better, but if you want the inside dining experience, come during non-busy hours.Macaroni salad was bland, with hardly any taste. We ordered almost everything on the menu (there are really only 4 options on the regular menu), and probably the best entree was #3 - grilled cheese. Option #4 - Kalua pork had no taste (good thing they had sauce on the side). Not sure if the pineapple was "fresh cut" - looked and tasted canned. Option #5 - I had really high hopes for. The shrimps were lacking in size and nothing about this dish stood out.
Oder #4.Best Kalua pork in town. The Grilled kalua pork cheese sandwiches are amazing..take the time and make the trip.. it will be worth your time.

Fabulous food and great service!! The staff are so friendly and helpful. We had the beef dog, grilled cheese, and pork rice bowls. Everyone loved their food. Also highly recommend their macaroni salad as a side. Best ever side!

This review is about a month late! Shame on me. Not because we didn't like it!We LOVED this place! It was clean. It was welcoming. We talked to the owner Justin and got his story behind how he started and his dreams to be bigger.The food was fantastic! I got the grilled cheese. This sandwich was huge! I barely got it all down.My wife got the Hot Dog. It was loaded with pork and delicious toppings!We got two pork platters for my wife's parents. Just as suggested, we found the best way to eat those were to just mix everything together. The pork, macaroni salad, rice, and sauce. Delicious!We got two additional sides of the Mac salad. This was a very good choice. I've never really liked this from restaurants, but this was spot on.I found the sweet spicy sauce to be better than the regular sauce.This place was so much better than the other Hawaiian Luau place. Granted not as many options, but the food was so much better!I feel you get more than your money's worth of food too. Was surprised at how inexpensive it was.I highly recommend you come here and eat or get it to go. Just get it!

They were out of the pineapple sausage, but I wanted to try the grilled cheese anyway. It didn't look like as much food as my husband's pork and rice, but it was certainly filling enough for me, and it was very tasty and satisfying. The sauce is what makes it 5 stars, I prefer the spicy sauce.
