Great food, and they'll make it gluten-free if you want. They took you strimp if you want, and it's a fun time.

We were pretty disappointed in the teppanyaki. The veggies were all burned or under cooked, the fried noodles were pretty bland. My husband liked the sushi but felt it was over priced. This is definitely not the same as the teppanyaki in Orem. This location is pretty run down.

Food was meh... Service was HORRENDOUS! DO NOT COME HERE. WAITRESS HAS HORRID ATTITUDE, IGNORED US, DID NOT BRING ENOUGH DRINKS, DISREGARDED SEVERAL REQUESTS FOR REFILLS. We were here celebrating our grandsons graduation, at his request/ choice otherwise we would never have come here. Trust me, I do not leave bad reviews without good reason. Top to bottom this was a hugely disappointing experience.

We waited for 20 minutes without having someone coming to get our drinks. It was hot and loud. The sushi menu was blurry and impossible to read. Major disappointment.

This place has a massive management problem. This is a result of none of the overworked staff that tried to help my table. I was charged an automatic gratuity to spend my hard earned money bussing my own table trying to get my own things I ordered to some a few. I did this in the only day I could celebrate my birthday with my family and I won’t spend a dime or my hard to earned money here again. The restaurant has enough to sit multiple large tables at once and I have multiple options with better everything that I will frequent instead. I wouldn’t never not tip an overworked underpaid staff and I shouldn’t have to pay an automatic gratuity for a small party who spent more than enough to compensate for the minimal effort out staff required.

The food was great. We set reservations in advance. We got there on time, our table was ready, but we weren’t seated for 15 minutes. We had to ask for silverware several times. The hostess/server was cold and abrupt. Then the cook came. We chose this restaurant because in the past it has checked all the boxes, food, fun, family, great service. This night was disappointing. Our cook was 1/4 into it, very boring, he almost seemed like he was unhappy to be there. Our reservations were at 7:30, the restaurant posts that they are open to 10pm, we finished eating around 9:20 and were celebrating birthdays, no one was waiting for a table, you could tell they just wanted us to leave. Not the best experience here, I’m not sure what has changed…..new management??

My husband and I have been going to this restaurant for almost 20 years. Always delicious food and courteous wait staff and chefs. You cannot go wrong!!
Amazing and delicious food. When I try to use the coupon, they only discount the cheaper dinners and not the most expensive which doesn't make sense to me. Service is rushed and pushy.....

We went to Tepenyaki on 3/22/25 on a Saturday night. IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE NO STARS I WOULD!! One of the WORST experiences I have ever had at any restaurant. We arrived at a busy time so we understood that things would be prepared slow. My brother asked for a drink and she declined thinking his ID was fake. Had to go through a manager to get the drink we wanted. 20 min later they finally start preparing the food and the cook put frozen rice on the grill, filling our bowls with rock hard rice. During this time there were 6 of us at the table and the server filled drinks for half of the people leaving our group without refills. We had to ask multiple times for refills as she would continue to forget about our group. Towards the end of dinner she gave us our receipt and there was an AUTOMATIC gratuity Added of 20% for a group of 3. Before we left we asked one more time for refills and she brought over the pitcher of drinks making us refill our own. THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTH YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!

literally horrible. went for prom and had a reservation for 7:15 and didnt get seated until 8:00 and waited until 8:30 and still didnt even have the chef at our table to start cooking. we had to leave because we were gonna miss the dance.

Terrible place. I came around 1400 on a weekday and only person in house was owner. I asked for menu to go and was told sternly that they do.not.offer.to.go I was hungry and still wanting to support a business and the place was deader than a cemetery so I asked if I could have seat at a table. I was told no individuals allowed, only full parties, and that I couldn't even order food. No wonder why they were empty at a rush time. Place is a scam at best

Stopped by here with a couple friends for a quick dinner. As stated on the front door and online, the closing hour is 10:00pm, and we arrived just before 9:00pm, so we should have had more than enough time. We were seated by a very rude older woman who seemed to be annoyed that we were there. The chef came, did a great job with the food prep, and we settled in to eat. After about 10-15 minutes, the rude lady comes by with the checks (we weren’t nearly done eating) and told us they were closed. I checked the clock and it was 9:30. Another group walked in at this time and they were asked to leave. Confused, we paid the checks, surprised to find that they had tipped us a large sum automatically, that added up to nearly 50% of the bill. She said we needed to take the rest to go. Needless to say, we will never be back.
