The food was amazing. It was like gourmet hawaiin food. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the Mac salad tasted just like what I ate when I lived in Hawaii. The service was warm and the bathrooms were clean. I am definitely going back.
Holy cow I love this place I ordered take out for the family. I got terryaki chicken, pork and the Colby beef ribs. I'm quite snobby when it comes to Hawaii brbq as I grew up with lots of Polynesian friends,so I have had some of the best Polly food ever. This place was amazing the pork was better than I even make which is pretty darn good. I had never tried pineapple coleslaw but wow. This is a great spot I do wish they did terryaki beef though, because their terryaki sauce is awesome.
Island of Hawaii Grill is located in North Orem. The restaurant is exceptional with a variety of different choices of island foods. Their atmosphere is great for the family and wheel chair accessible. Their deserts and cake are awesome. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful when choosing your orders.
Lovely space, yummy poke! I suggest the poke on salad. Big portions.
I LOVE Island of Hawaii. Such good food. Lots of options. The lunch specials are amazing. Poke bowl is one of my favs.
Ambiance is excellent. Food is okay. It was a little bland for me. Salt and pepper shakers on the table would help
Wow! The food won our hearts. The service and friendliness went above and beyond that! What a great place with amazing food. It is so fresh. Even the dumplings are hand-made, not frozen! So glad we found this place.
Wonderful place and amazing food. The macaroni salad was a delicious compliment to pork (which by the way was to die for). One of the owners, Sam, took the time to come and check in on us. Over all it was a great experience.
The food was heavenly! We went on a Tuesday night and hardly anyone was there. Sure hope business picks up because this place to deserves to succeed! We loved the casual, relaxed atmosphere with Hawaiian background music. Took us back to happy memories of our times in Hawaii!
I just moved here from Southern California and just wanted some great Hawaiian food! I kept passing this place and finally stopped in. SO DELICIOUS! The food is so fresh and seasoned perfectly! The dumplings are to die for. The portions are perfect. A good amount of food but not so much I can't finish! I have gone twice this week already, and will be going back! I got my family hooked as well! The chef knows what he's doing! Can't say enough good!

First off, I'd go back. I wanna try their Poke. The service was good (waitress mixed up one of our sides, but no biggie). The kitchen was fast. The food was super tasty and very well presented--very pretty. The only thing I was surprised by were the portion sizes relative to cost. It was worth it, don't get me wrong. Just based on the decor & branding, I expected fast, cheap big vs. more towards the fine dining prices and experience. But a bad surprise, just not what I expected. Thanks, IoH!
Having a hard time saying whether the food or service was better. We were truly hosted, and the food was prepared and delivered amazingly. The atmosphere is fantastic as well. Really hope this place becomes a staple in the community because it absolutely deserves it.
The food was very tasty and the decor was inviting. Felt like I was in the islands. It's not large portions like other Poly places but the food was excellent. Probably the right portion for me even though I'm used to over eating.... so it was good. Poke bowl was my dish and the infusion of mango and avocados made it decadent. The Garlic shrimp was fresh and tasty.
What an amazing place to eat! We were actually the first people to eat there in 2018. The food is amazing, and so is the atmosphere. The pricing is really good for what comes with it. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Definitely family friendly. And the waitresses and the owner are all very kind! Oh, and did I mention clean? It's hard to find a restaurant this clean these days.
The atmosphere of the place is a 5/5. It is beautifully decorated, the Hawaiian music that is playing definitely creates a mood. The presentation of the food is 5/5. The meals they bring out are works of art, and I am impressed by the thought they put into making the meals looks beautiful. We ordered the Garlic Shrimp and it was in the $14-$15 dollar range. My husband complained that the sauce was on the outside of the of the shrimp that still has the shell, so unless you put the shell in your mouth and suck out the meat, there is little flavor. It would have been good to have some more sauce on the rice or a side of sauce. He also said that it was hard for him to deal with the price for only 5 shrimp...he felt like for the price he should have had at least 7 shrimp. I ordered the Katusu. It was good. The sauce was strong, but had a good flavor. We had the guava cake to top off the meal at it was also pretty good. I was only disappointed that my husband who is not overweight was still hungry when we left.
