I used to love this place but since they hired new staff, the place has fallen apart. They are extremely rude, they don't know anything about customer service, the place became just another restaurant and they lost that special touch they had.
As frequent customers, it was disappointing to see so many empty tables and be kicked out of the place for not having a reservation. The owner who by the way knows us and would never have allowed something like this to happen. It's the second time this week that the new staff is rude, pushy and so on. How sad that they ruin and alienate their frequent customers for passing customers. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT PLACE.

The best little spot you must visit for authentic flavor and new concepts on a Mexican menu. The service is so personal and the atmosphere is perfect for a quiet meal or a family outing. We will be back often!

Fantastic meal. Went with a group of 5 for lunch. We called ahead for a table and I was glad we did. Food was hot, fresh, and delicious. Loved the apples of the granny salad and with the steak tacos. Service was wonderful and prompt. Chef came to the table to talk with us and make sure everything was good. Cant wait for another opportunity to come back.

Oteo is my new favorite restaurant, and I do not say that lightly.

First of all, the food blew my mind. Molote with Coconuts Pibil was the best meal I have had in months.

The owner is so cool, so nice, and made us feel so welcome.

My wife and I could not recommend this place more!

Oteo’s is the best kept secret in Lindon! We have become regulars at this cozy , tucked away eatery. All of the dishes are incredible! Every dish we’ve had was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the filet, paired with mashed potatoes and asparagus and the steak burrito is to die for. Their churros melt in your mouth. The staff is alway courteous, and the owner is always present , interacting with his customers. If you have not tried Oteo’s, make it a priority. They won’t disappoint.

I had high hopes for my dining experience based on the glowing reviews, but I unfortunately left feeling disappointed. From the moment we entered, we felt overlooked; it took a while for anyone to acknowledge our presence, which set a negative tone for the evening.

Once we were finally seated, it took about ten minutes for our server to greet us. They poured us water but didn't provide menus right away. After another five minutes of waiting, the menus were dropped off without any explanation, even though we had questions.

When we placed our orders, the wait for our food was quite long—about twenty minutes before the server informed us it would be ready soon. However, “soon” turned out to mean another ten minutes, which felt excessive.

When our food did arrive, it was somewhat underwhelming, especially considering the price. We paid $15 for two tacos, and there were no sides like chips and salsa, rice, or beans to accompany them. While the tacos themselves were tasty—the beef taco was tender and full of flavor—the presentation left much to be desired. The tacos were placed directly on the plate, which caused the juices to run out and make the other shell soggy. A simple change in plating could significantly enhance the dining experience; the dishes looked more like something from IKEA than a thoughtfully curated meal.

As soon as we finished eating, the server promptly cleared our plates, almost as if they were eager to rush us out the door. This abruptness was surprising given the earlier delays in service.

Overall, the atmosphere was not conducive to a pleasant dining experience, and the service could use substantial improvement. I’m rating this restaurant a two out of five. While I appreciated the flavor of the beef taco, the chicken taco was bland and reminded me of something easily made in a slow cooker minus the salt. Unfortunately, these factors overshadowed the positive aspects of the meal, making me hesitant to return.
