We saw on maps that this place had burgers and shakes, and that doesn't appear to be the case anymore. They still have nachos, pulled pork sandwiches, and some other items but it was a disappointment when that's what we were really craving. We ended up getting some dirty sodas anyway, and they were good. The person working the counter was very understanding and nice, I think it just recently changed ownership and certainly changed its main offerings. Not bad just not what we were expecting!
Drive through or walk up to the counter, this is mostly a soda/drink place, they did have some food options and the pulled pork was the best that we got. Would recommend if you happen to be going through this small town!
First of all, I'm a burger guy and these are excellent burgers. Shakes are a close second to the burgers, definitely worth stopping for if all you want is a cold milkshake on a hot day. My family was at Fish Lake for five days and we made our way into Loa two of the last three days for lunch at the Double Decker. We would have been here more often, but we did not find it until our third day there--sure glad we did! One minor drawback is that they were not very fast at getting our order served, but it was worth the wait.
Bacon Cheeseburger and Mushroom Swiss burger was large and delicious. We also split the enormous yummy cinnamon roll!!!
Great roadside burgers and fries. Didn't get to try the shakes, chicken or other items, but I bet they were tasty. Food was fresh. Bacon cheeseburger actually had bacon...becoming a rarity.. Ate on the double decker bus. The owners were friendly. Everything was clean. Found a title we liked at the little free library housed in and English phone booth. Will go back if in the area!
This place is amazing. The perfect pit stop while traveling to some fishing areas. Delicious food and a cool bus to dine in.
Must stop place if you’re traveling through! Burgers were fresh, delicious, and juicy. Owners were very sweet. The story behind the place is also very interesting. There was even a cute book exchange in their British telephone booth!
Best food and staff. The burgers are highly recommended. They are unique from other restaurants that I would go out of my way to eat here. But It’s so conveniently located as you are coming or going to Capital Reef National Park.

The first burger we got there is wonderful. Today we got our last wasn't even good dog food
Food was good but the prices were a little high considering a nearly 10 dollar chicken strip meal with a drink only gets you 3 tenders and a small handful of fries, cups were filled to the top with ice so not much to actually drink. The condescending sign about people not wanting to work was a little offputting.
Wanted to try this place but couldn’t because they were closed, the hours posted might not always be right because they are short staffed.
One of the few places to eat when driving through from Bryce to Capital Reef. Very friendly, burgers are really good. Mushroom Swiss, cowboy burger and the Texas corn dogs were really good. Strawberry linzer cookies and kettle corn are home made and delicious.
Great food and super friendly service. Owners and staff are great! Mushroom Swiss burger and cowboy burger were amazing! Pretty sure it was the buns. Cookies and kettle corn are delicious as well.
