July 2022 While we were standing in front of the restaurant, another couple came to peer inside the window, so we weren't the only ones unprepared to find the Bluebird closed for renovations. Look forward to its reopening!
The Bluebird is only opened for 100 person or less for special occasions. We held our son's wedding breakfast there. Food was terrific and service was great.
Traditional food, great atmosphere, family restaurant. Bluebird chocolates skew the whole thing to the positive, undoubtedly.
While it's sort of fun to eat in one of Logan's oldest buildings, the place is a full of old run down EVERYTHING. This would be a really cool place if the owner would remodel and update. Food is always decent, but not overly spectacular.
The Bluebird has been one of my very favorite place to eat.
I grew up loving bluebird cafe, going almost weekly with my mom, but I've noticed a decline in their food quality, it's sad really. Now each time we go I dread it, because I know I'll go home hungry and sometimes with a stomach ache. I wish I could recommend it, and I would have recommended it 13 years ago. Definitely not now, I don't want a restaurant with such an incredible history in our town to go out of business, but I sincerely think that it's a waste of money to eat there.
The real cream sodas here are amazing! The food was ok.
I stumbled upon this lovely establishment while I was taking a walk in downtown, Logan. I love ice cream parlors, but this one stands out for the fact that the place has been loved and cared for such a long time. I had a “one-scoop sundae” and it was such a simple pleasure eating it at the counter.
We loved the setting... lots of wood and iron work. Comfortable. I had the fish and chips and my wife had the pasta primavera. Both were tasty and satisfying. I'm interested in trying more if the menu. Walk around the restaurant and check out the mural in the back featuring thre growth of Logan. We will go back!!!!
We love historic restaurants...the food was pretty good.

I have lived in the Logan area off and on since I was four years old. The Bluebird is a true cultural icon of Cache Valley. BUT. I went there for lunch last week with two old friends and I have to say, it was terribly disappointing. Love the old fashioned ambiance. However, the service was very slow. It was so cold that one of my friends wore her coat the entire time. Two of us had side salads to go with lunch and they were absolutely pitiful. The lettuce was brown and limp and whoever did the prep has the knife skills of a trained gorilla. One friend had a chicken stir fry and again, the knife cuts were inconsistent and that made it difficult to eat. The other friend had a small steak which he ordered to be cooked to medium. It was way past medium well. I would be so sorry to see The Bluebird go out of business, but it would take wild horses to drag me in there again.
Great ambience. Service was good. Food and the pricing was good. I tried the chicken fried steak. Tasted like a typical comfort food chicken fried steak. Nothing spectacular but still good. Fries and corn sides were great. I had a cherry ironport soda for the first time..... dang that is delcious. If you like soda definetly try the cherry ironport. I would go again.
had breakfast here this Morning it was prompted and the waitress was also nice food was delicious and still hott
Probably the worst service that I have ever seen or have ever received! Not only did I think it was awful, but the 3 tables around us couldn't believe it either! 1 person walked in sat down and waited 5 minutes, was never greeted and or asked if he wanted anything to drink, so he just left. When we walked in, so you know it is a small place, there was 4 tables open but 3 of them had plates and food still on them and still did for probably 10 minutes after we sat. A group of 4 customers sat at a table for 4-5 minutes before the server picked up the dishes and didn't even wipe the table down after clearing the table. The server was cold and could care less. If I was the owner I would fire the girl that was working today. The food was good, but the customer service was so terrible I will never go back!!
Went for lunch with grandchildren, only 2 or 3 other tables so expected fast service. That wasn’t the case. My wife asked the waitress if there were any specials. She simply replied “no” as she was walking away. Had to ask another waitress what the soup of the day was. While the sandwiches were decent, the soup was barely lukewarm when served. I ordered fried cheese sticks and on the first bite, noticed they were still cold in the middle. After over 5 minutes of waiting to see our waitress again, I finally had to ask another one to return the cheese sticks. She came back and informed me that they were given back to our waitress and another order would be brought out. The waitress returned a couple of minutes later with the same sticks including the one I had already taken a bite out of and cut open, obviously tossed in the microwave to heat up. Wouldn’t have killed them to at the very least replace that one! It will most likely be our last visit to a beautiful restaurant that seems to need some help with it’s service quality.
