Ginza Japanese Restaurant in Logan, Utah, offers a unique and enjoyable dining experience that blends traditional Japanese cuisine with modern convenience. My recent visit was memorable for several reasons, ranging from the quality of the food to the distinctive way orders are placed. While there were a few small areas for improvement, overall, it was a great experience that I would recommend.

The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the sushi. Ginza’s sushi rolls were expertly crafted, with fresh fish and flavorful ingredients that delighted my taste buds. The menu offers a wide selection of rolls, nigiri, and sashimi, catering to both adventurous sushi lovers and those who prefer more familiar combinations. Each piece was beautifully presented, with just the right balance of textures and flavors. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic California Roll, a spicy specialty roll, or something unique, Ginza’s sushi delivers on quality and taste.

In contrast, some of the appetizers fell a bit short of expectations. While the selection is impressive, including traditional favorites like edamame, tempura, and gyoza, a few items arrived at our table less than piping hot. The flavor was still good, but the temperature issue slightly detracted from the experience. That said, it’s worth mentioning that the staff was attentive and responsive, ensuring that every other aspect of the meal met high standards.

Service at Ginza was friendly, efficient, and tech-savvy. One of the most intriguing aspects of dining here is the use of an iPad ordering system, allowing you to place orders for everything, even napkins, with just a few taps. This innovative approach adds an element of fun and convenience to the meal, making it easy to customize your order, explore the menu at your own pace, and call for service whenever needed. The system worked seamlessly and made for a modern, interactive dining experience that stands out.

The ambiance at Ginza is warm and inviting, with a relaxed atmosphere that makes it suitable for both casual lunches and special occasions. The decor combines traditional Japanese elements with modern touches, creating a comfortable and visually appealing space. Whether you’re dining solo, with a partner, or in a group, it’s easy to settle in and enjoy the experience.

Despite a couple of minor hiccups with some of the appetizers, Ginza Japanese Restaurant impressed me with its flavorful sushi, innovative service, and friendly staff. For those in Logan seeking high-quality Japanese cuisine and a unique dining experience, it’s well worth a visit. I’m already looking forward to returning to try more of their creative sushi rolls and perhaps give the appetizers another shot. Highly recommended for sushi lovers and anyone seeking a memorable meal with a modern twist!

Parking: Parking is not well lit. Lights are off. Restaurant seems closed. The only light on the building is a small sign. Idk if this move is to save money but it might be too unsafe at night.

We had a group of 12...wish we knew they had a fan above to cool us off. It got so hot in our tiny room. Food and service was excellent.

We loved coming here! It’s a lot like the Melting Pot in Salt Lake, but at a fraction of the price.

This made for a fun and unique dining experience for us when we went. It was really cool to be able to mix and match all of what we did, and to feel like we were chefs. However my main complaints are the price to value, and the ordering system they have in place.

It's relatively expensive for what it is in my opinion. We paid over 30 each for dinner here, and over the course of the meal, we didn't really eat a ton of food by the time we got full and went on our way. With no option to take home left overs, it felt a bit pricey in my opinion.

The ordering system that they have in place, for getting more meats and sides as you're there is confusing as well. To not go into too much detail here, here's a brief description. They give you a tablet to order new rounds from. However, if you order too quickly after you just ordered, or you try to order too many items, a staff member has to enter a code to unlock the tablet.

All this being said, it's still a fun dinner option, and I will likely go back, just not all that often if I do.

I came to ginza last week and I was told over the phone minutes before I came in that we would be charged for lunch service since it was 2 pm. I was ecstatic because I can’t afford Ginza usually. When we get seated and eating I get told by the waiter that they are charging me for dinner service even though it hadn’t yet hit 5 pm yet. I was so upset. I had to use my credit card.. I don’t know if I’ll come back. I do love the food but that was horrible
