Mandarin Garden Restaurant

The food is usually great. My issue with this restaurant is the containers they use for takeout orders and door dash. A dish with liquid (curry) should be in a container with a sealed lid. 4/5 times that I’ve ordered the red curry on DoorDash all the curry sauce spills out of the container leaving me with just veggies and tofu.

We used to LOVE the old location. Everything was great, but honesty I am embarrassed for the new location. Awful service. What happened?!

This is maybe my 3rd review ever good and bad. I feel like this one has earned a review and I don’t want others to experience what I did. Worst place to eat in cache valley, if you look at reviews you need to divide the old location and the new location!!! Old location was great, New location is horrible! Never had such bad service. We walked in about 8:35 and right off the bat they were telling me I had to order fast and that the kitchen closes at 9:15 (they are open until 9:30) we were waiting for my wife to meet us there so I called her and ordered so we could accommodate the staff. I ordered an A combination plate and was told they were out of food for A and needed to Order B plate (more expensive) then I was told that they were out of egg drop soup and offered hot spicy, I do not like spicy soup and asked for a discount because they did not have all the food that came with the meal I ordered. (Btw what Chinese restaurant runs out of egg drop soup?) the Manager said no I had to have spicy soup. Sorry I’m not paying for food I don’t want to eat, if your menu says something, then that is what is expected. Staff was extremely rude, I walked out! There are plenty of places to eat that want to serve you and will treat you like they want you to come again, I will never set foot through their door again!

First time back since they moved to their new location. Much smaller than before, but they weren't busy that evening. My meal was delicious. I should have taken a photo. The four of us enjoyed our meal. Thumbs up 👍

I haven’t been to Logan in a few years and I wanted to eat here but they weren’t there on 400 N where they have been for over 35 years! I was sad cs they were so good! Then I found they had moved to 400 S. New updated restaurant. This is a pic of my lunch menu item. A lot of food for only $8!! Add a drink and tax and it’s only $11.50. Try their tiny spicy chicken. It’s the best. I wish they had a location in Salt Lake…..
If you visit Logan Utah get Aggie ice cream and Mandarin Garden - the best!!!

Shrimp was weirdly shaped like a cheese stick! Pork Foo Yung had no taste, and only 1 patty. I had it delivered by uber. It was hot when it arrived but won't be ordering that again.

15 minutes of waiting for a table , 3 other couples seated and orders taken that came in after us . Poor customer service , Just cause bus boy didn’t want to clean a table, and waitress wouldn’t either .

Always a good time at Mandarin Garden. Not so sure how I like their new location, (it’s much noisier in there now) but it’s a good meal with the family.

First, this place has MOVED to south Main Street. It is as good or better that ever. Try the lunch menu tiny spicy chicken. Excellent. Other items are also good. Genuine Chinese food. When you see the food being cooked and delivered by Chinese, you know you are in the right place!

My food was excellent, mandarin garden deserves 5 stars every time!! So good , I will come back every time, I crave the yummy mandarin garden food, 😋

Same great food in their new location. However it's very tight, a small space with a lot of tables. Service was pretty good except we waited a bit longer than expected at the end of the meal to get boxes and pay.
