Went to get a cone and when I received it, it was face down in a cup smashed with barely anything in it. I paid for sprinkles as well and it maybe had a couple on it, I couldn’t really tell because it was smashed in the cup upside down. Very disappointing.

1st of all, the drive thru service is very time consuming. It always take forever even if there is no one else in line. 2nd of all, the gelatas never have custard at the bottom as it should. Even when you ask for a special order for more at the bottom, they only put less.

I usually love zeppes! the gelato & food is always good but the employees were very rude this time. I went through the drive thru and sat at menu for awhile waiting for someone to take my order. After a while I said "hello?" and got no response. Then one of the other customers locked their car, which made the horn go off. Someone finally said "pull up to the window". As we pulled up, the first thing the employee said "don't honk in the drive thru, it goes straight in my ears". I said I didn't and she continued and assumed the horn was me and lectured me, it became SO awkward. She was then very short and snappy the rest of the time. End of story, no tip this time around.
We've been so impressed. We've gone multiple times and the employees have always been so friendly and helpful! We love all the seating options they have as well. The inside smells SO good!

Got a pretzel, but my coworkers got Italian Ice. My pretzel was good, and my coworkers enjoyed their Italian Ice. Good place to grab a cool treat on a hot day. Seems particularly good for kids / families. They couldn't give us tax exemption despite us using our State of Utah Credit Card. I recommend it if you want to just hang out, but don't expect anything exceptional.

I really like the new building with the upstairs deck and the fun little huts out front to sit in when it's cold. It is a fun atmosphere and great for summer nights! It's also nice that they have a drive thru.
The custard and Italian ice was really good - I got half mango, half strawberry Pina colada, with vanilla custard. I think the regular size used to be considered a small, but it still is pretty good sized. I might have missed this but I did not really see any napkins or trash areas other than the inside area so that would be nice for them to improve on.
My only real complaint though is the lack of customer service. We waited over 20 minutes to get our order of 5 small gelatas and there were only 3 people in front of us in the front area, and there were around 4-5 workers that we could see. It seemed like most of the workers were more interested in talking with friends at the drive thru area than helping with orders. By the time we got ours there were probably another 15 people waiting by the pick up window. I get visiting with friends but when a ton of people are waiting and they can see you chatting and laughing instead of making the small orders it gets a little frustrating. Nothing against them - they were all friendly - just maybe having a bit more training on customer service would be helpful.
