I have been following this establishment since day one! Local and near by me. They had some up and downs with their recipes. So a couple of suggestions and they hit the nail! The food is so good. Lately I have been disappointed in the past year because when I would stop by, the place would be closed, even after looking up their business hours. I would get there early before they would open and see other guest doing the same. As we all waited in our vehicle for them to open. Time passed after there hours of service and no one showed up. As I see other cars leave I finally left too, feeling very disappointed. This happend several times. I live close by so stopping by to check was no big deal. Following them on line I see that their catering business is "thriving" so I'm not sure if this is a restaurant or a catering business. They let us know when their catering business was full and sometimes when they were going to be open. Well even some of the days they were "supposed to be open" No one showed up and doors were locked. This would follow later in the evening with apologizes. Maybe when you know your not going to open; Post something then? The food prices are bit higher then similar establishment but the food was good and worth the wait. I like to support local business and eat good food. I hope these guys can figure it out before it's too late. Until then I travel a little further for some great poly food.

I love their grilled corned beef. The faalifu kalo was another treat for me. The whole lunch plate took me back to memories of how my father would cook his Samoan dishes. Portion size was more than enough for me. I made two meals out of my plate. I don’t eat like I used to, but I appreciate what I eat much more these days. This food was wonderful.

Picked up 2 papa... friendly service. I liked that they were able to text me my receipt since their printer was down. I am originally from Cali visiting. I drove from Lehi to pick up masi, but to no avail. Back to Lehi.

If you want hot, fresh and delicious Samoan food- this is the place! I’m not much of a corned beef fan BUT that smoked brisket is perfectly cooked! It’s so flavorful. We ordered a little of everything on the menu and everything was fantastic. Portions were huge as well! Will definitely come by again.

A wonderful way to experience Polynesian cuisine!I ordered take out for lunch. They were open late the day I went due to a special event, but opened earlier than the sign on their door said they would.There aren’t a lot of options in Magna so I’m happy there is a local, ethnic option to stray from fast food.The restaurant is simple inside, but clean. The menu is easy to understand. There aren’t a ton of options and you have to want the kind of food they’re offering to go there. The staff were polite and service was quick.I ordered a large combo. It came with corned beef (you can pay an upcharge for smoked corned beef). I got chop suey, taro, and turkey tails as my sides. The corned beef was excellent. The chop suey was very ginger-y. The taro was good. The turkey tails were fatty but well seasoned. I thought it was a ton of food for the price (just over $20). And was more than enough for two people. It’s definitely a very specific taste but I could tell the restaurant executed it well.

I got a huge complaint about this place.. it’s about how great and delicious the food is here!! I would give them place 10 stars if I could. Got the mixed plate with the smoked brisket, chop suey and the teriyaki chicken and did I go to town. Service was great and helped me decide. The portion size is perfect as well. Highly recommend this place if you want some real island grub. Will definitely be back and with some friends! ??

Overpriced for the amount ? of food they give you. I get it, we’re in tough times and prices may be due to inflation but let’s make sure the plate is worth the amount. Corned beef steamed is alright, nothing special about theirs, being that is what they specialize in. I’ve had way better.

My husband and I happened upon this place as we stopped in Magna to pick up wonderful Colosimo's sausages. The owner, La, was wonderfully welcoming and friendly, and she walked through the whole menu with us. The food was fantastic, and the turkey tails and smoked corned beef were absolute musts. I highly recommend this authentic, local eatery!
