Simple and pretty clean for what it is. Great for anyone out fishing in the middle of nowhere. Nice people work it and the restaurant is super convenient. Reasonably priced and keeps you from having to travel after a day outside.

What happened to this place? We used to come here all the time, the food, and service was great. We stopped by this afternoon for an early dinner, since it was towards the end of season (understandable) most of the menu was unavailable (ice cream, pizzas, etc).
We were told that the wait for food would be almost 1 hr as they were understaffed (1 cook and the cashier) the group in-front of us had ordered a huge order.
As we sat down the tables were still dirty, chairs wobbly and the biggest issue were the FLIES!!!! Please do something about this, it’s unsanitary.

Please get the flies under control! Yes, customer service has gone down, but the food is still fantastic so it’s fine. But the flies were so bad that my Apple Watch gave me credit for doing jumping jacks for 30 minutes because I had to keep swinging my arms to keep the flies away from my food.
Please do better. I won’t pay to eat somewhere if I have to compete with flies for first dibs on my dinner.

I was traveling through Flaming Gorge and decided to stop here. I'm glad I did; not only is the food delicious, but everyone that works there is so nice! I will be sure to come back!
It was a blistering hot day; something cold and sweet sounded refreshing. My pie a la mode arrived on a hot plate. The soft serve ice cream, sitting next to an equally hot piece of pie, was almost completely melted. Maybe ice cream on a hot plate is a local specialty? No table service but yes, tips expected. No tip today, sorry.

Went in with my five year old after a four hour drive, they were the only restaurant in the area I could find. I walked in and they told me at 8:01 oh sorry I forgot to lock the door and were closed but there’s a bar that has food down the road. So sad since of course my five year old wasn’t going to a bar with me, and they had a ton of precooked chicken strips and fries sitting under a heat lamp. I understand closing but if it was my establishment I would have honored one more guest, especially since they weren’t clear on closing. Didn’t put customers first in a tourist spot on a holiday weekend. We will avoid them in the future and found another place the next day that earned three nights of our business.
