This is located near some hotel . I came in with a friend and we had breakfast. It was OK. Small portions big prices.

Love This place... it's busy and loud... my hearing aids don't work as well as I would like. But the food and the servers make me feel very Good!!! Bring friends family coworkers or even not friends...Good Food and Service makes for a Fun time!

Chicken fried steak breakfast. The CFS was terrible. Tough, tasteless with a bland gravy. Broke 2 plastic fork’s trying to cut it. Ordered a biscuit and it came plain, dry, cold and butterless.
I order food from you regularly and this has been my only disappointment. A shame too because the portion was great. I will continue ordering just not this item.

Unfortunately the breakfast food we had was rather bland. Hash browns were not browned, chicken fried steak was chewy and very tough meat to eat. Wait staff was wonderful!!! Will go back to black bear diner in the future.

The wife and I got prime rib dinners. I ordered mine medium rare. It looked like the meat was cooked the night before and reheated in hot water. It was gray in color, dry as the desert and absolutely flavorless. The wife ordered her prime rib, medium well it looked like it was thrown on the flattop and reheated. It was way way over cooked, so much so it was past well done on its way to becoming charcoal.
The waiter was very good, he removed them from out ticket.
The appetizers we ordered were decent. The staff was welcoming and seated us quickly.

Lived in Ogden since 99. First time eating here, not disappointed... I had the clam chowder with huge amounts of clam in it, my husband had the French toast and has been raving about it since. The service was quick and server was so friendly. We will most definitely return!

The little old lady server in the mornings is the worst server I’ve ever came across in my 63 years of living. She abandoned it our table for no apparent reason. She earned her “no tip”

I cannot believe this place has such good reviews. We had pot roast, meatloaf, and a club sandwich. The pot roast looked like hospital meatloaf? The meatloaf looked like canned cat food, and the bread was over toasted on the club sandwich. It felt like we should have been paid to eat here.

I love this place, but they just hired a whole bunch of new girls this past weekend and it seemed like they were going to start dancing and they weren't interested in serving us at all, and it seemed like everything was a problem for them to have to get you anything or to ask them for anything
