Small town (Mexican Hat) no frills inn with great food. Had Mexican taco on fry bread. Delicious. Wish there was outdoor seating to view San Juan River. Couldnt see river well as windows were dirty and inoperable (due to safety reasons, as was on cliff edge above river). Worth the stop.

Tiny store but hardly any products. We were in & out in 2 min. Cashier didn't even acknowledge us. We ate next door & it was ok. The young man serving was very happy & attentive.
Love love this place ❤️

We had our breakfast here as we were already staying at the San Juan Inn. The environment, the set up, the ambience inside and the backdrop is beautiful. You can take one of the window seats and just enjoy the awesome view.
Coming to the food, we opted for a the very basics and they were all good. Nothing extra to add. I believe they don’t serve the Navajo Taco during breakfast hours as it wasn’t on the menu they shared with me or else I would have loved to try that. Never mind, overall it was a positive experience and definitely the stay at San Juan Inn was extremely memorable.
Special mention to the lady at the cafe counter - she was great.

The fry bread was DELICIOUS ! Our waiter (a young man) was very nice, helpful and very original (in a good way) however the older man at the entrance was not nice at all, very sarcastic. Definitely not a good look

First time trying fry bread. Delicious! Reminded me a lot of the Dutch olie bollen. Server was very attentive and delightful. Highly recommend this place!

I stopped by for lunch and had my pup with me. They had some picnic tables outside and we got to enjoy the beef stew and fry bread. Pupper even got a little bonus and our server Garrett was very nice and brought her a bowl of water too.

Was actually a pretty decent place to eat. I had the Navajo cheese burger with fries and it was actually pretty good. The fried bread was good compared to The View at Monument Valley. Atmosphere was dated but it was a nice hole in the wall cafe.
PS. The waiter that looked like Benson Boone rocked as well🤘

Last night we ended our Monument Valley tour and had to quickly find dinner before heading out on a long drive. Not only did they accomodate us when we entered around the closing time, they were also sweet enough to help us celebrate my husband's birthday by pulling in a small surprise. It made his day and also was the highlight of our trip.
Please visit this place for the hard working staff with excellent service.

Walked in and got the cold shoulder. No greeting and was completely ignored the entire time. We eventually just left due to the lack of service.
