Went in with my service dog and the manager claimed it is Utah law that animals aren’t allowed in restaurants. Was very rude and ignorant about the situation. Don’t come here, they obviously dont need the moneyfyi, denying someone service because of their service animal is an easy case to win?

It was with great pleasure that I was able to discover the Navajo taco prepared with traditional bread and it was the best dish I have eaten since my arrival in the United States! With the added bonus of a very typical setting and a warm welcome, the service is also very fast.

We ate here in September 2023 while we were staying at Monument Valley. My husband ordered the Chili con Carne. I heard the waitress telling the cook the order. The cook said "we're all out of that". Give him the pinto beans. So that's what he got, a bowl of pinto beans. If they had told him they were out of chili, he could have ordered something else.

Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area! The Navajo fry bread tacos or burger were excellent.

The onion rings are some of the best I've ever had! Their fry bread is also some of the best. Great little place.Along with everywhere in the Monument Valley area, the service was weird and borderline unfriendly and unwelcoming.

In October, we stayed at the San Juan Inn and had an evening meal at the San Juan Inn located at the San Juan Trading Post. The atmosphere was great in this quaint, old bar/restaurant place. At the time we were there they seemed to be understaffed with only 2 waitresses/waiters for about 40 people but they really hustled so we didn't have a long wait. We table ordered a Navajo cowboy beef sandwich on fry bread with sweet potato fries and a green chill burrito, both very good with ample quantities. Our server whom provided excellent service went by the moniker Alucard. He said it was a favorite movie of his about a powerful vampire. I would definitely eat there again if in the area. Loved it. Five star. Would hope to see Alucard again.
