I had a great dining experience at Penny’s. If you’ve been to Milford, you know there are very few options to dine out.
Penny’s is a step back in time to an old school diner where you sit in a booth and watch them cook everything right in front of you.
The eclectic bunch that works there are endearing and attentive. The food is average if I’m keeping it 100. BUT, it was late, I was starving, and it was delicious and hit the spot.
Where else can you get pancakes, milkshake, and chili cheese fries, and a side of chuckle with the locals.
I’ll be back next time I swing through Milford!

I stopped in here to get food at first, and it was impressed by the burgers. So good! I ended up getting flat tire after I left, and ended up back here to stay at the hotel. The staff is so friendly and kind, offering Help with things like dog food because of my unexpected stay. I was lucky enough to get to chat with them for a bit And they are just honestly amazing people. I’m actually kind of glad I got a flat tire so I could meet these wonderful people.

I ordered a crispy chicken salad. The chicken was delicious, but the lettuce in the bottom half of the bowl was wilted and limp. I still might come back, maybe it was just a fluke.

Came to Milford for some high school football. Stayed next to Penny’s Diner. Got dinner to go after the game. What a great service experience. Dale was awesome and so helpful. Burgers and onion rings were excellent. Great caramelization on the patties. Eat here! You will not regret it!

Food was very good, the chef did a great job and he was nice. Something that we didn't like was the attention given by the waitress, she was very rud with us since the beginning to the end. But it was only with us because with other costumers she was acting different.

Trip to the mountains to see wild mustangs.....on the way back, this New Yorker always stops at Pennys Diner.

Really slow customer service. Waitess only showed up to take my order, 10+ minutes wait. No refills, no napkins wirh lunch. Too much talking and socializing with off duty employees. Price of food is not worth it. Kitchen is always in need of a good wipe down. Makes me nervous about food. "If you have time to lean, you have tome to clean." Id hate to see this place when there are more than 2 customers. Not good.
Cooks in training should be taught the basics.....clean, prep, and clean.
