this place is SO GOOD!!!! the workers are very friendly, the food is delicious, and the service is wonderful! i'd highly recommend Dragons Diner to anyone wanting to try something new!!!
I never write reviews but I had to write one in hopes that it will save others from illness. We have been going to Dragon Diner for years and it’s been consistently good. It had been awhile since we’d been and we ate there this evening. The food was terrible. The chicken dishes were tough and tasted off. It is definitely not the same as it used to be and it made all of us very sick (nausea, vomiting, etc.). I suspect food poisoning. We will not be going there again which makes me sad because it was one of our favorite restaurants. Very disappointing.
An odd little set up, but the food is excellent! I may have found my new favorite Chinese place
I've been coming here for years! It always stayed consistent, food is good, service is great! And they also deliver for a very reasonable price!
Got the teriyaki chicken noodles… was just chicken over a bed of spaghetti with hardly cooked mushroom and some onion.. no flavor. Just pour sauce over. You could just pour red sauce over it and have Italian! Not for me .
Great food. Good pork egg foo young
Really tasty food in sizable portions
6 years ago this was the hit place for Chinese food…then the flu epidemic started and the Dragon Diner did take outs only…then we found out that about 6 months ago they started to also do dining in as well…well my wife and I ordered our favorites that we used to get 6 years ago…the bottom line is, they made us pay for the food up front…they then brought the food to us in styrofoam container that was about 8” X 8” all smashed in there together…then on top of this, the food tasted so bad that it was revolting…we just looked at each other… left everything there and got up and left.
..
The service and quality have gone down a bit. I don’t know if the manager has changed or what but it’s not as good as it used to be.
Orange chicken was a little soggy but everything else was delicious.

Ordered orange chicken and ham fried rice the chicken was shimmy and the rice was hard it sure wasn't freshly cooked.
Super disgusting! Got sesame chicken. Super soggy and gainy and so gross. Not even edible and my husband isn't picky. I threw it up in my mouth. Not even dog food
My food was barely warm (for dine-in). The egg flower soup was way too salty, and I couldn't even eat it. The General Tso's sauce seems somewhat decent (watered down like everything else), but the breaded chicken for the General Tso's was strange and got nasty after a few bites. It almost seemed like the chicken just sat inside the sauce all day in a warmer. This is nasty corner cutting. - Waited 20 minutes for my food. I will never go here again. Another decent salt lake county Chinese food restaurant has gone to the dark side. I feel it'll be shut down within 5 years.
Food is delicious!!
Everytime the love and I go in we always stick to one thing we order and are never disappointed. Made the same way all the time. If you were to get it try the Mandarin chicked fried rice, or tropical fried rice.
