I can’t even begin to explain my appreciation for this place. Everyone in there works so hard and is so nice, even when they are SLAMMED! But it’s definitely one of the only places that I am willing to wait for (though usually they can have a to-go order ready in under 10 minutes!) The General Tso chicken is AMAZING and has finally completed my search for my favorite one! I am SOOOO lucky to live down the street from this hidden gem, and I hope they stick around for a while!!

Blah. I hadn't been here in years because of the lady that used to work the counter. Thankfully someone else was working the counter and he was friendly enough, but the food is straight up BLAH. I chose to go to Dragon Diner over Mountain City because it was a few dollars cheaper, but I absolutely learned my lesson. No flavor, greasiest weirdest ham friend rice. Pretty sure they use day or two old white rice to make their ham fried rice or something. Not good. At all. Spend the few extra dollars and go to Mountain City instead.

Came back from a long day skiing and just wanted some spicy stuff to clear out my head and was quite disappointed. Our party of 4 ordered a variety of food and all of it was hot, fresh, and.... Bland. SO BLAND. Zero spice and zero character. Sadness. It looks like this place just started doing dine in but as other reviewers stated, "dine in" is just takeout cartons at a table. The dining room is a bit of a mess; half of it is filled with inventory. For what it's worth, service was quick and food came out fast. Prices were fine.Honestly, I'd skip this place unless you're desperate.

Messed up our order and we couldn't communicate with her. The place smells super bad in the back. The beef was rubbery.

"Dine In" was my question, yes they said. Glass of water was brought out. Several minutes later - boxes of fried rice, crispy noodles, wonton, and finally chow mein and a plastic container of hot and sour soup! A plastic spoon and plastic fork.I finished the soup, asked for a bag and "took out" my "- "Dine in"

I grew up walking distance from Dragon Diner, and I can't say how many times over the years I have ordered food or eaten in. The food has always been fantastic—Chinese comfort food—and never once have I had an issue getting the order right and ready for when I arrive. It is definitely five star!

I have always raved to all my friends about this place. They r always polite and very well business oriented. Although tonight I will never order from them again . Very rude people on the phone to order , extremely unprofessional people working . I don’t know why this perfect place went to hell but it did!

I use to order from this place all the time when Denis ran it. I’ve never had a problem. I ordered soup and dragons wings two days in a row. My second order was wrong . I ordered dragon wing and got fried shrimp not sure how he confused it. When I called, the man argued with me and hung up on me. I ended up eating one of the fried shrimp that was dry and no taste.Very disappointed!!

We ordered two dinners and were given plenty of hot yummy food. The fried rice was fresh and had plenty of veggies and ham. Wontons and egg rolls had just right amount of filling, crispy and hot. Cashew chicken had lots of chicken, veggies, and cashews. The sesame chicken was flavorful and tender! We enjoyed our dinner!!!

We were able to eat inside. But they're more set up for people picking up and delivery. The food was extraordinary. I haven't tasted good Chinese food for so long.

Definitely a downgrade from what it used to be. This was my favorite go-to spot for Chinese food. Always recommended it to family and friends. Not any longer. Pon-pon chicken was disgusting, the breading was burnt and tasted like burnt oil. Sesame seed chicken was soggy. The only good thing out of my order was the chciken-fried rice and the ham-fried rice. Glad I ordered that and was actually able to eat part of my food.

Update 2023:Still not in person dining but you can order to go impromptu which is good. I ordered the lo mein today and it was delicious. There was a bit too much soy sauce on it though and the soy sauce splattered all over my shirt, face, and glasses.Unfortunately, covid has caused a slide in quality. They were way better when I went there 3 years ago. I hope that when they go back to in person dining that their quality will go back up. I just don't think that styrofoam containers are as good for keeping chicken crisp. It was way too soggy for us this time. I would say that when their quality was a bit better I would definitely recommend them since they had so much food for the better quality, a really good value. They still have their quantity but not their quality at the moment (probably because of the take out containers to be fair).Vegetarian options: Was able to order the lo mein with vegetables instead of meat. The egg rolls had no meat in them either.
