Fantastic service every time and great food. My go-to neighborhood Mexican restaurant for dine-in or take-out.

Got seated quickly, even on a weekend night. Waiter was quick and polite. Food was delicious and the serving size was solid.

I loved the high ceilings on the place, and the ambiance was great!
The service was friendly.
The food is decently priced, but they somehow forgot to add flavor to their food. Very few times I've had more bland Mexican food.
Not a place I'll be coming back to, unless someone else is paying my bill.

Ask for Emmanuel! Best margaritas in town, get the El Jeffe. Food is excellent warm fresh chips and salsa… this is a well managed business. I do not give 5 stars lightly.

We've been dining at Tres Hombres since they took over the old Don Quixote restaurant my uncle Les established. That was replaced as Tres Hombres expanded into the carpet warehouse. Our daughter went to school with one of Don B's kids so we even became more loyal. It's always been fantastic. Last night we came with a party of six at 6p.m. and the place was near empty. We ordered apps of guacamole and queso and the guac was good but the queso was flavorless and very runny. I had suggested to my friends to try the enchilada zacatecas plate and two of us ordered it. It arrived and had an off smell. We tried to eat them but it seems they used canned crab and perhaps the can had been open a few days too long as it was not right and the shrimp tasted and smelled like ammonia. The sauce was not nearly as good as in the past either. We ended up choosing not to even take the leftovers as they smelled so strong it would make the car smell like a litter box and they'd not get consumed anyway. My wife had the chicken breast and it was so salty she could not eat it thank goodness for the chips and salsa. Also one in our party tried the mango margarita and the mango juice must have been in a carton that was left out of the cooler or outdated as it was not drinkable, four of us tried it and agreed. This embarrassing experience made me and my wife stand at the top of the exit stairs and say farewell to an old favorite.

Disappointed to say the least. The food wasn’t freshly prepared and the atmosphere was very sad. No music, not good selection of plates. Not tortillas with the main dish. No spicy sauce and the nachos are the lowest quality possible. I won’t recommend this restaurant for Mexican food.

Horchata bomb

Tres tacos on lunch menu were good. But the blue tortilla for the taco was so thin and sad! Not very crunchy. Ratio was off.

My man got a single asada taco too and his tortilla was p undercooked. And falling apart. The ratio to filling and tortilla was off. They should have doubled up on the tortilla for his taco.

My jalapeno marg was kind of disappointing too. Not very spicy. Im Mexican so I can handle spice.

Food was very good. Service was great. Very pleasant and attentive. A party member had a steak and said it a better than some steak houses.
