Food was tasty. They are generous with the meat in items. Chili Rellano is great. Salsa had great flavor.

Colorful restaurant. Friendly service. Food was lacklustre though portions were huge and ingredients used were fresh. Overpriced too. Plenty of parking.

Vegetarian options: Even though vegetarian options are available but be aware there is lard in the beans. You have to request substitution to black beans.

I thought it was very expensive for ordinary Mexican food. My chimichanga and iced tea ended up costing $37. The hot sauce was $3 extra. You should be able to eat almost anywhere in town for that price.

We were disappointed as we had heard this was the best Mexican food in moab.
First, the menu is pretty expensive for what it is. $22-35+/person. You would hope for that price you get a decent experience, but something so out of place are the cheap utensils. They are so cheap you could bend them with the littlest amount of force. That does not add to the experience whatsoever, and you'd think with the menu prices they could afford nicer utensils and cups.
Anyway, onto the food. Underwhelming and not worth the price point. So beyond saturated with oregano. Every meal was so heavily salted, one dish was so heavily seasoned with oregano, and the molcajete was so drenched in a Chipotle type sauce that it was absolutely inedible. $70 for inedible food for 2 people.
So far, there are no decent Mexican places in Moab. This place wins 5 stars for overwhelmingly saturated flavors to the point of not being edible. The place down the street (la fiesta) is just as bad but due to blandness.
Save your money and go somewhere else. The only fun thing about this place is the decor, you feel like you are in Mexico in that aspect with the vibrant paint and images scattered throughout the restaurant and on booths.
Highlight of this place was a good fun environment and good cabbage salsa with the chips on the table
Vegetarian enchilada was good, good portion and good veggies
Chipotle smothered burrito wasn’t our fav, too much sauce and wasn’t an amazing flavor
Tapatio burrito was a 10/10
Colorado beef enchiladas 9/10 solid basic enchiladas
Gluten free option, 7/10 chicken tostada big portion of chicken with it
Vegetarian options: Had section on the menu with 6 options, I got the enchilada and it was good

The chips and salsa were good. Mango margarita was disappointing and the eggs and chorizo made my friend sick. Tacos were ok but there are better food options in

Mexican food can be VERY hit or miss but we were pleasantly surprised by this stop! Chips and salsa were good, as well as the chicken fajitas. Not quite as good as Tex Mex, but it will definitely tide you over!

Atmosphere inside the store Very colorful Decorated in an authentic and traditional Mexican style. The food menu is quite diverse. Didn't try the tacos. Because there is another menu that is more interesting. Whole fried fish It's like Asian style fried fish. And it came out quite delicious. Comes with both rice. and half a plate of mashed beans The plate is very big. But it's worth the price.
Overall the food was delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant is good, there are many tables.
