We just had an EXCELLENT dinner at Miguel’s Baja Grill in Moab. The “Baja” in the name is key to the menu and the flavors of their food. I had the Carne Asada tacos and K had — a menu surprise to us — lamb tacos. Both were served with a very generous portion of meat in a flour taco (corn tacos available) and all the other ingredients as sides on the plates with refried beans and rice plus another surprise, a whole roasted jalapeño pepper which was fruity and not too hot for us. My side of salsa was tart and tasty and the guacamole was fresh and full of flavor. The lamb was similarly innovative. I don’t know Baja California except through @patijinich on PBS but if this their typical fare I want more of it. If you are in Moab do go to Miguel’s and ENJOY your dinner! (Sorry no photos this time.)

I’ve eaten a lot of Mexican food in my life and this is easily some of the worst I’ve ever had. Bland, flavorless, and will provoke a case of acid reflux in most. My disappointment was immeasurable, and my day was ruined.
I would expect more quality for the prices. The chips and tortillas came straight from the store. Everything else was great, but expected more for the price.

We had a great experience tonight! Mickey was our server and he took very good care of us. Some of us have Celiacs Disease and he was so careful to check with the kitchen to make sure our meals would be safe. Thanks, Mickey!!

I am allergic to dairy products and reached out to ask about accommodations and I talked with the owner Javier. He walked me through the menu, so I could make a plan for what foods were safe for me (grilled fish tacos that were amazing) The service was great and my whole family cleaned every plate. We look forward to coming again the next time we come to Moab!
