Some people here in town recommended this place and we are so glad we tried it. The people were super nice, booths were very clean and even though it was pretty packed we got our food pretty quick. I tried the shrimp platter and it was delicious! Fries were done perfectly and crispy. We will continue to stop here and eat when we are passing through.

Love the diner, but the food missed on all counts. After being seated, we waited 15 minutes before anyone came to take even a drink order. The grilled cheese was not cooked at all, barely toasted. The “tender” roast beef was very tough, and the hash browns were half burnt. My eggs were supposed to be scrambled, but were essentially an unfolded omelette. Not going back.

After a morning hike, we stopped in to get reenergized with root beer floats and French Fries. We like the modern diner feel and super nice service. Our floats and plate of fries were generous and so very good. We were even given additional cups of root beer to add as we went. The place was busy, but the service and the food came quickly. I definitely would return for something more.

I haven’t been to the Diner in years. Sad to see things haven’t changed. Maybe it depends on the time of day, but there were very few people and no one came to check on us and take our food order for about 40 mins. Wait staff made us feel like an inconvenience and unwelcome and food (when we finally got it) was subpar at best.
